Amazon Brand – Stone & Beam Barrett Reclaimed Wood 2-Drawer Desk, 71"W, White and Sandstone Pine

Hey guys,I am not even remotely exaggerating when I say that this has been the best, and I mean best desk, furniture, or even item that I have EVER purchased on Amazon. I bought both desks both the 6 drawer and the 2 drawer 71W desks for a complete office makeover. I was not let down by the quality of the desks purchased, and at the Value that I bought them at, I felt like it was a Steal!The packages arrived within 3 days of me placing the order, that is right, hundreds of pounds of furniture, arrived at my door in 3 days. It arrived in some of the most well packed, protected boxes I have EVER seen anything ever shipped in. The packaging was thorough and WELL THOUGHT OUT and it protected because of it.The quality of the desks that I received was 11/10, you see...I am a huge fan of the rustic variety and these desks have the unique charm and appeal that I was looking for. Huge works of art, all unique in their own way. The drawers are perfectly sized for me, some people think they are small, but I have NO COMPLAINTS. You will see nail holes, some small gaps ( SMALL), unique fatigue, small marks. It all adds up to the rustic experience and I am so glad I bought both of the desks. They are 100% made of REAL WOOD, it is Pine, yes, but Pine is thousands of times better than ANY pressboard. I do not care what the other sellers say, pressboard, engineered wood, its all pretty much the same. Save your money, and go with this setup, you will not be let down.My goodness, because of this purchase I am 110% likely going to order something else from Stone and Beam! I am not even playing around, I am 100% telling you the truth.Thanks stone and Beam, I am without words, I am in true shock and the value that I just got with the purchase of these desks. I will be looking at your King Bed sets now so be ready!

I purchased this desk for my home office after comparing many other options. The piece came well wrapped with no damage from shipping. The large surface area holds two large desktop computers with room to spare. The finish is attractive and was evenly applied over the entire piece. Construction is solid - no wobbliness, no visible screw heads, etc. One thing to note: on the top the wood surface is not a consistent thickness. Around the edges it is 2" but the rest of the top looks to be about 1/2" thick. This is probably to save on weight as well as manufacturing costs. One of the drawers doesn't doesn't fit perfectly with the desk face when closed, although this doesn't bother me and it can probably be corrected by adjusting with the glides. The surface of the desk is smooth enough to use a mouse, although I don't want to ruin the finish over time so I plan to to mount a keyboard/mouse tray in the space between the two existing drawers. Overall it was a good purchase and I have ordered another one to finish off my office. Buy it when Amazon has it for under $500 - it's a deal at that price point! One criticism - Amazon needs to make more pieces in this line with this finish. Some type of filing cabinet and a small printer table would be great.

I have no complaints about this desk. I don't think I could have found better at the price I was willing to pay. It is wood. It is not real "reclaimed" wood. but, it is solid wood made to look reclaimed. Perfectly happy and satisfied. Looks great also. plenty of space. I am considering getting the six drawer option for my other home office space where I do crafts.

The desk overall is great. its fairly sturdy and nice. My only real issue is that it was damaged during transport. It wasn't worth it to me to send it back and go through all the hassle of waiting for another one. It was fairly minor damage so I just dealt with it.

We looked and looked for a desk to fit in with our bedroom sitting area. Looked at many desks that cost 4 times as much but then found this on Amazon. Was pleasantly surprised when they dropped it off. Fully assembled and a very substantial piece of furniture. Was worried about my feet hitting the crossbar underneath but it's been a non issue. I even use it as a footrest now.Would have purchased another but they were soon out of stock. It appears that this desks price has varied greatly between a couple hundred and 8-9 hundred. We found it a bargain in the 400 range.

We received this desk delivered inside our home with no extra shipping costs. I was notified when the truck was close and could track their arrival. The desk is constructed well, heavy, looks expensive, and is big enough to spread work out on. If you are looking for a sturdy, reclaimed wood desk, you won’t be disappointed with this one.

The desk is sturdy, but the wood is DEFINITELY not reclaimed/recycled wood. it is simple pine with a fake wanna-be vintage finish. Way overpriced.

This product is very nice, but the legs of the desk were off white not white as the picture depicted
