I love her dearly, little bundle of cat-dirt fountain madness. She would have put the excavation crew to shame if I'd let her dig up the water line instead of their backhoe. After vacuuming up more cat dirt around the box than she would leave in and going through more cat dirt in a week than most people go through in a month, I decided we needed an enclosed cat box. Since her box is kept in the kitty condo... I needed one that would fit into her MidWest Cat Cage. Hours into research, I settled on this corner unit. It is true to it's dimensions and fits into the cat cage perfectly. She is not a large cat so I am not sure how it would fit a large cat, but she has room to turn around in there and it keeps MOST of the dirt inside during her OCD power strokes. I took the door off to assist in her acclimating from an open to closed dirt box and will replace it soon. That will help even more. I was concerned about the bottom, with so many negative reviews for the lip on the other cat box but as you can see by my included photos, the bottom is smooth and curved and should prove to be easy to scoop. The included cat scoop was missing when it arrived... which does not bother me at all considering the reviews of the scoop deemed them useless and I still have the old scoop which functions perfectly well, I would possibly knock a star off for that but won't in the spirit of they did me a favor now I don't have to throw it away. The cat box came in a big box, nestled together (first pic) with some tape holding the two sides together. It is fairly thin plastic which seems like it would break very easily but is should not have a hard life in the corner of a kitty condo. There are three fold down latches on the sides and back which do hold the top on securely enough, though I wouldn't want to test them by picking it up by the handle with a full box of buried treasures. I just need it to hold the cat dirt in, and don't plan on toting it anywhere so I am not concerned with them much. The seam between the lid and the box do not overlap so if your kitty is not a deep squatter like mine, it is possible that they would be able to pee on the seam and it would probably leak out. It may be that 5 stars is generous, regarding the quality- but I feel that for the price, it is exactly as advertised (minus the useless scoop, which I actually prefer), exactly the size I needed, and best of all will keep most of the dirt out of my vacuum and where it belongs.

I had to decrease the amount of litter dust in my house & decrease litter odors. This replaced a top entry litter box my girls have used since I bought their 3 story cat condo. The corner box fits differently and they still use it as a step to the lower floor. I initially pulled back the door cover because my girls were hesitant. In a couple of days I put it down and within a few hours they were okay with the swinging door. It doesn't close completely but it made a big decrease in the dust everywhere. The scoop did not come with it, but I prefer my old one. I only lift it to move it a few feet away to remove the lid & scoop out waste. I read reviews about the latches being questionable. They pop open if bumped hard enough. I double check before I lift by the handle and they are great. I also use light weight litter so maybe that helps. I have not found a pan that waste does not stick to at least sometimes, so I spray with Pam cooking spray before 1st use and after every cleaning to make scooping easier. I also added a mat that could catch litter to pour back inside the box. If they ever create an inexpensive one that the flap closes completely without trapping my girls inside I might buy it. Until then, I am loving this.

Good litter box but the complaints about sturdyness are true. It's fairly thin plastic so flexes a lot when you add more than just a small amount of litter, but I'm using this for two cats so I added in about 20lb. Moving while full causes the door hinges to pop out of place, but they pop right back in. On the plus side the Johnny Cat Jumbo size liners are a perfect fit. Liner around the edge and then the lid holds it in place exactly as you'd want.

This is a decent size litter box. I have a cat that is bigger, as in height(14 inches tall) and length (32 including his tail) I would say he weighs about 13 lbs. He fits just fine in there. It seems pretty sturdy I took the flap off as my cats do not like them. There are no places for carbon filters. So I scoop it several times a day so I do not smell what is in there. I like the fact that it front flap lefts up, that does make it easier for scooping. It is a decent height. Like I said it fits my biggest cat. It functions like it is suppose to. Nothing really spectacular about this cat box. The price was pretty fair. I got this from here even though it was a few dollars more, the convenience of not having to leave the house was worth it to me.. The design is simple. I wish there were more colors to choose from.. I added pics of my fur baby. It is hard to really tell he is bigger. I included a photo of all three. The middle cat is 3 yrs old. Simon on the right is 16 months old. They all fit fine

The litter box is large and even suitable for 2 cats. The odor control is ok, it does have a door in which that does come with it but it does get stuck with the door frame and it is best for young cats to make sure they don’t get stuck outside or inside. It does appear durable but the first week with the litter box, the little step outside the door did partially break. There is 2 corners in the entrance in which makes it hard cleaning the litter box if the cat does pee or poops thereOverall I fine it a 6.5/10.

Solid value. I am just here cause it's time to replace it after 3 years. this fits well in the corner of our small bathroom it's a good way to add in a 2nd box if you don't have much room.

I like the size of the box but after putting litter in it it was too heavy to lift and the top popped off. The scoop was way too small for anything. Just very cheaply made. Wish it had more clips for the top to hold it on better.

This litter box is great. My cat likes to spray litter all over the place and this covered box keeps it in the box. Pared nicely with the mat trapper I ordered and clean up is easy. Only thing is the scoop holes are a bit too big.

I was skeptical at first by reading the reviews but I badly needed a litter for my cat. The litter is perfect. I love the little door my cat gets in and out of the litter. Also easy to clean, you don't need to remove the cover, just retract the door at the back and you get full access to the inside of the litter. And it's also very spacious, a lot of room inside for my cat to do his business! The only minor thing is the tape they use for the shipping, I had a hard time removing it and even afterwards it left sticky texture on the surface that I had to rince off.
