Still learning how to use it, but so far so good. It’s mindboggling the I can now get immediate feedback on my brains behavior!

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from the Muse 2, but my sister had been using hers for a couple of months and loved having a visual sense of how her meditations were actually going. That idea really appealed to me—especially since I often felt like I was just sitting in the dark with my mind racing.I've now had the device for two weeks and have been using it every morning and evening. What surprised me most is how often I *thought* I wasn’t reaching a meditative state simply because my mind was busy. In reality, the Muse 2 has shown me that even when my thoughts are active—or when I’m mentally “programming”—I’m actually entering a heightened awareness state rather than failing at meditation.It also makes it very clear when I’m *not* being effective in my practice, which has already helped me improve my sessions. This has genuinely become a valuable tool for me. I plan to take it everywhere: to sound baths, meditation classes, when I travel—pretty much anytime I meditate.I’m looking forward to diving deeper into all the metrics it offers: brainwave activity, heart rate, Alpha peak (cognitive performance), brain recharge, and stillness. I did end up purchasing their subscription for the additional metrics and AI insights. I’m not sure it’s absolutely necessary, but it’s definitely nice to have. I’ve also tried several of their guided and unguided meditations. There’s a wide variety—some I really enjoy, and others don’t resonate with me as much—but the selection is impressive.If you’re wanting a clearer understanding of what’s happening during your meditation sessions, this is a fantastic tool to add to your practice.

Headband repeatedly loses signal during training, doesn't read that sensors are touching skin, reports that headband must be made tighter (it is already as tight as it can get). It is very frustrating to work with and makes training almost impossible. After researching headbands, I purposely bought what appeared to be a higher end model for long term use and haven't been able to get through a single training session without interruption since purchase. Terrible value. Will need to be replaced.

The device has an interesting algorithm that really helps you to gauge the quality of your meditation practice. In only a few sessions, I have noticed an improvement in my mindfulness.I wish it would give you a readout in hertz instead of just calm, neutral, or active. You can get this info, but only with a paid 3rd party app.

I actually really like Muse! I am very easily stressed and have a lot going on always, and this has helped me slow down pay attention and hear the birds which is really really neat. This is next level technology!

This was disappointing, it did NOT come with an electrode, which I did not know until I got it and had to make additional arrangements therefore delaying my training.

It's an amazing tool. I'm still trying to figure a few things out but grateful I have it to improve my meditations.

I had meditated years ago but was never sure about my progress. Then life got in the way and I stopped practicing. I bought this device a few weeks ago and I love it. I actually look forward to my daily practice. It gives you feedback by analyzing your brain waves, calmness, heartbeat, and body relaxation. I can see my progress on a daily basis. I am 76 years old and wish I had this 20 years ago! You can also subscribe to a yearly premium content with even more programs. There are guided meditations and also different sound modules. I heartily recommend this if you want to see and track your results for even deeper meditation.

I am extremely disappointed. For the second time in a row, Amazon has sent me an electronic product that simply does not work right out of the box.It is mind-boggling that products are being shipped out without any quality control or basic testing. This isn't just about the money anymore—it’s about the total disregard for the customer's time and effort.Every time this happens, I am forced to go through the hassle of repackaging, driving to a drop-off point, and processing a return, all while being left without a working product that I actually need. There has been zero compensation for the repeated inconvenience, the wasted time, or the sheer frustration this has caused.Amazon, you need to do better. Sending defective items repeatedly and expecting the customer to do the legwork to fix your mistakes is unacceptable.

Don't buy it it is usless

The Muse 2 is excellent for anyone who struggles with "knowing" if they are meditating correctly. It gamifies the experience in a way that encourages consistency. If you are a data nerd or someone who needs immediate feedback to stay focused, this is a solid investment. Just be patient with the initial sensor setup!

I’ve been using the Muse 2 brain band for about a month now. I was already meditating regularly before, but this product has really helped me track my progress and improve. So far, it’s been great, and I haven’t found any negatives.

the first time I used the Muse with the rainfall sounds I felt myself go deep into a meditation state. I heard the bird song sounds that Muse uses to indicate a sustained level of calm. I've now had it a few weeks and I like using it. I've explored some other background sounds like waves and wind but prefer the rain. I look forward to using it more
