cheap fix
i use this on my 2010 ford explorer. it is easy to pop the hood and replace myself as a petite woman. I needed this part because when i would drive up a hill or stress my engine it would cause my air to blow out of my defrost vents and no longer from my front facing dash vents. They last about 3 years it seems as this is my second time ordering this part.

Fixed sucking noise 2010 Explorer
Had slight sucking noise EVERY time I pushed the accelerator. Drove me nuts. For the $30 for this part, took the chance in hopes it would help per research online. God bless this thing eliminated the noise 90-95%. Truck is a pleasure to drive again.

Worked perfectly!
Bought for my 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, which was making a hissing noise whenever I accelerated. Checked my vaccum lines and it everything looked fine so only thing left was this piece. Replaced it and no more hissing! Also use a zip tie for the ends for added security.
