Delightful little protein treat. As someone else said, you have to keep your expectations realistic. It's not the same taste and texture as a rice krispie, but it's such a nice protein option. The vanilla has a subtle coconut taste and a very pleasant chew. It's subtly and not sickeningly sweet. It does have a bit of that protein powder feel to it, but I still like it. I see people in the reviews complaining about the dryness but man, we have gotten so juvenile and spoiled as a society. Does everything have to be candy? I will gladly sacrifice a bit of flavor/texture/whatever for the far more important trade off of having quality ingredients and no harmful fillers. I was recently desperate to find an alternative to David's Protein, which changed their recipe to include more disgusting toxic ingredients, and this one has 0 questionable nasty ingredients. I'm so happy and will continue to buy this deliciousness! Thank you for making a quality product with real food ingredients!! Some business owners and companies still care to make healthy products, and I am extremely grateful.

A great on-the-go snack. Not too sweet but a definite chocolate-y flavor. They remind me of something from my youth, but I still haven't been able to put my finger on it. They are filling but don't leave me feeling bloated, like some other protein bars. A great carb content, so they're the perfect snack or after-meal dessert (for those who have a sweet tooth they need to satisfy). I've only had the mint chocolate flavor and would recommend.

Amazon customer service saved me. If it wasn't for them it wouldn't have got my money back. There is no return policy for these and they taste like cardboard. I understand they are supposed to be healthy but these things taste worse than cardboard. The texture is bad the flavor is bad there's nothing enjoyable about it. And I'm a fitness nut in these were horrible. Also false advertising, the photo that they used to represent the strawberry ones is not what you receive. There's no cute little glazing on top with some kind of cream coating no. I didn't get through one to tell you if it's filling or not. I took a bite and I forced another bite and then I immediately contacted customer service. They are currently in my passengers seat of my car, they're not even in my home. They were that bad. Trust the three-point whatever rating. These are horrible

First I want to say: if you compare ANY high quality protein bar/supplement to things like fad "recovery" bars or vegan "protein cookies" from the gas station, you should first turn your attention to the ingredients list. This product doesn't suffer at all from the absence of a barrage of ingredients only chemical engineers can pronounce. I was hesitant to buy it based on a few comments that mentioned it was dry, had no taste, etc. I would firmly disagree, though I understand everyone's experience is subjective. Here's what I would say... One of my favorite bars prior to this has been Big colossals apple pie bar. However, I get this only because they are widely available and I am always bothered by the ingredients and sugar. These have the same great crunch texture, much like a rice Krispy as one reviewer mentioned. It's perfectly sweet, has a balanced flavor and the ingredients are so much better. It is a higher price point per ounce, but you get what you pay for. Also, the bars I was eating were about 390 calories for for 30g protein with a good bit of added sugar. Eating 2 of these (weight would be about the same as one big colossal) is 300 calories and 30g protein (amazing for a bar and I think the lightest I've had yet). Overall- better ingredients by a landslide, refreshingly new taste and a great texture. If want your protein bar to taste like a candy bar (why I don't know),these may not be for you. But if you want a guilt-free, protein packed, low calorie snack to hit that sweet tooth, or to double up for a quick breakfast these are great. 👌 One add on is that I've been eating protein bars for over 15 years. Most are very chewy or have so much sugar/Splenda they are sickeningly sweet. The ones that try to be candy crunch bars are a dime a dozen(Gatorade, Alani nu, fitcrunch, even metrx). If you haven't had many to compare, that's what you are missing. There's something for everyone but if you are turning up your commitment to macros and generally healthier ingredients , these are the way to go.

One of the pictures accompanying the description of this product shows soft looking chocolate which almost appears to be melting from the center. This squared with my perceptual memory of this company's vanilla bars, which I enjoy regularly, so I expected to like these as well. But, unlike the vanilla bars which are reasonably close in taste and texture to a freshly made Rice Krispie bar, the chocolate mint bars I received were hard, dry, stale, and almost completely tasteless.
