Perfect size for my home lap pool
I was concerned this was too small, but I place it on the deck next to my single lane lap pool and it’s plenty big enough to read. Set up was quick and easy. Runs on batteries- included.

Great home swim/pace clock for length swimmer.
I love this lane clock. Nice and large, and with a minute and second hand it enables me to easily pace while swimming without stopping. I can time my 100's using second hand, and overall swim duration with minute hand (I lose count of lengths, so time is a good backup!) I set it at the side of my pool so I can actually view during a sideways breath while doing freestyle. Before you start, the minute hand can be hand wound to start at 60, then pressing the start button on the top, the second hand will start from where it was (might mean waiting to start if you are diligent about wanting to start at zero) It seems reasonably weatherproof, and I've had it out in the rain. However, I don't leave it out there, I put it in the pool shed between swims. The housing is sturdy and easily stands on the deck with an extendable plate, which is hardly needed, but which would make it more stable on a slanted/rough surface.I was going to buy a large digital pace clock, but they are quite a bit more expensive, I am happy with this choice.

Seems a bit pricey, but that’s the cost of hen’s teeth
The HDPE case and stainless leg attach clips seem pretty sturdy. I like the sweep second hand and movement seems good. When I pulled it out of the case to put in a single AA battery, I noted the battery door didn’t fit right. Discovered they had soldered the start/stop switch the wrong way through the back panel and installed the panel inside out, note the recessed areas for the battery door on the OUTSIDE, not INSIDE where they should be. It did require a soldering iron to fix, but a 2 minute job.

Clock works totally disassembled -- IN A BAG!
Imagine ordering an Accusplit Pace clock for swimming, running or other timed exercise sets, and it arrives with the hand dangling free on the center pin and the entire clock works in a common kitchen baggie stuffed in the back where the motor should be. Breathtaking in audacity or incompetence. See the photos --- Multiple gears, pins, motor winding, metal strip to be formed as a battery holder, screws, loose wires... And ZERO instructions. Even a "build a clock" science kit would not stuff all those parts in one baggie, no explanation. The package arrived quickly in a normal but thin box with no packing materials to avoid shock, just a thin sheet of manila paper, unfolded. Amazingly it was shipped together with a separately ordered toilet seat! The two filled two thirds of the box, with the unassembled clock legs loose and free to bang around with the heavy toilet seat, clock body and baggie. Other reviews of the Accusplit Pace Clock foreshadowed this, with many poor reviews such as "hands not attached " or "wires not connected to switch," but never this bad. I guess shame on me for ordering and shame on AccuSplit. The clock was advertised as refurbished and discounted, but in no stretch of imagination could that be construed as totally disassembled in a baggie. I am still laughing. Amazon was prompt to understand, refund and have a paid UPS pick up come to my door for the return.

The first shipment the second hand was laying in the ...
The first shipment the second hand was laying in the plastic face and would not screw back on and no instructions on how insert the copper plate in the battery compartment to be able to use the turn off switch. The instructions included were just to turn the machine off with the green button on top of the clock. No green button on top of the clock. The second shipment the minute hand was off completely. I took the clock apart and reconnected the minute hand. And there were instructions on the outside of the box how to use the button and copper plate to be able to stop the machine. Have not used it yet, but this is exactly what we were looking for. Hope it works well!

Great for a small pool
My outdoor pool clock had the minute hand fall off after water polo balls damage. Got this for personal use since I swim lots of 5 and 10K meter straight swims, and I really need the minute hand for keeping track of laps. My pool manager is nice enough to let me store it under a cabinet, but it is small enough to carry in and out if necessary. This 14 inch face is nicely visible from up to about 10 yards at water level when doing flip turns (with 68 year old eyes wearing goggles), so I try to use the first three or four lanes. So far performs flawlessly. It is nice to have a button to turn the clock off without having to remove the battery. Well constructed, and seems to have pretty good resistance to splashed water. The plate at the bottom that can be pulled out to widen the base and help with wind resistance is a plus for me when outside. I recommend for anyone who can do with a smaller clock.

Pace Clock
I use this for swimming. It works perfectly and keeps time accurately.I only wish it was a little bit bigger. But all in all I am happy with it

Great Value and Perfect Size
Easy to carry. Easy to synch. Can see it from both ends of the pool. When I can't take my teammates for motivation, it helps improve my ability to work out on my own. While at home, we use it at our own pool at the other end and synch with the main clock for odd-lap sets for our Master's Team.
