Wow, I haven't had that experience. I have the masque and the conditioner and it works wonderfully. I've not experienced any kind hair loss whatsoever and I see a difference in the strength of my hair since going permed to natural.

There are no problems if you want to leave it on for longer, but it is not advisable to sleep with the product on. After application, wait a minimum of 5-7 minutes and rinse.
