Putting the lid on a Cuisinart food processor can be tricky as most owners know. I only pull mine out about once a month and I always have to look up how to put the lid on. I was in a hurry and tried to jam the lid on without directions. To my dismay, a key piece of the lid broke off. I researched new units versus a replacement lid, but good processors are not cheap and this brand still comes highly recommended. I was hesitant to buy this replacement lid but was delighted to find that it is exactly the same as what I had. It fits perfectly and saved me a lot of money by not replacing my whole unit.

Fits and works great. Someone became over exuberant and broke the original. This was a great price with over night shipping. Terrific!!

had to replace the original lid because I put it in the dishwasher and it warped. It was cheaper than buy whole new food food processor

It looks like it superficially fits but its loose so the machine wont run unless someone is pushing on the top.

It's not the same as the original. Basically you have hold it down now to make it operational. However, I couldn't find one even from the manufacturer that did not have the same issue. It's better/cheaper than having to purchase another food processor.

Cuisinart’s website indicates this top fits my model. Technically I can put the top on my original work bow, but it doesn’t engage the safety mechanism without constant downward pressure. It’s not the experience I want or would expect from Cuisinart.Update: I spoke with cuisinart and they replaced my bowl, gratis.

Two of the clips on my old lid broke so I could no longer use my food processor without it being a giant pain in the butt. This one fits perfectly so I can use my food processor again!
