I will start off by saying that this is approximately the 8th 70Mai dash cam our family has purchased for our vehicles. I bought my first 70Mai dash cam back in 2018 and have been a loyal customer to the brand as it provides damn good bang-for-buck and doesn't have any dealbreakers. I'm also quite picky when it comes to cameras in general as I am a hobbyist photographer and know what makes a quality video/photo. This Omni camera uses the one of the best Sony Starvis sensors on the market which is a great starting off point for the camera. It's a large sensor which means it will perofrm better under low-light and have better dynamic range during the day. When it comes to video quality there is absolutely nothing for me to complain about with this dash cam. Day or night, sunshine or rain, the video is crystal clear and easy to read license plates off of. The rear camera on this is also much improved compared to the previous model included with the A810. It also has 5GHz WiFi which makes transferring videos to your phone so much faster. The camera has also been a hit with everyone who sits in my car as they find the facial animations charming. They also love the voice activation and taking selfies/vlogs with the dash cam. sing the voice commands and having the camera rotate has been a hit and a great party trick. Everyone from my young 8-year old cousin, to my ~30 year old friends love the voice commands and facial animation. The parking mode is also a wonderful feature and the AI model used to track suspicious movement is quite good. I rarely, if ever, get false alerts. You also have the ability to use the 4G hardwire kit to remotely monitor your vehicle, and in this mode you can also manually rotate the camera to get a full 360-degree view of inside and outside your vehicle. I have no cons to list for this camera. For the price you are getting a well-rounded dash cam with great hardware and a cool features that make it fun to use along with being a necessary tool.

FIRST THIS IS THE SECOND X8OO IVE PURCHASED THIS WEEK 3/25/25 AND I ALSO HAVE THE X2OO PAIRED WITH THE 4G MODULAR FOR REMOTE VIEWING. LETS GET ON WITIT... CONS; 1. WAY TO SMALL STORAGE, ON BOARD & CLOUD. THEY SHOULD AT LEAST GIVE US AN OPTION TO PURCHASE CLOUD SPACE 500GB-UNLIMITED AND ANYTHING UNDER 500GB FREE FOR BOTH MODELS AND ALLOW UP TO 1TB OF SANDISK STORAGE FOR THE X800. 2. SHOULDVE ALLOWED BOTH TO LIVE STREAM, AT BEST THE NEWER VERSION. I HAVE ANOTHER DASHCAM THATS ACTUALLY 360 VR AND CAN LIVE STREAM TO SOCIAL MEDIA & YOUTUBE AND WHY I STILL KEEP IT IN THE CARNIVAL 3. BOTH MODELS; VOICE COMMAND WORKS WHEN IT WANTS AND MOST OF THE TIME DOES EXACTLY THAT. ITLL TAKE PICS AND VIDEOS BY ITSELF BUT IF I VOICE A COMMAND IT LITERALLY DOES NOTHING. (TAKES THE FUN OUT OF IT) 4. X200; I HAVE TO REMOVE IT FROM THE VEHICLE BEING IT HAS A LITHIUM BATTERY, WHICH WAS A REALLY BAD DECISIONON 70MAI PART. THEY KNOW THE BETTER THEM BATTERIES EXPLODE, EVERYONE DOES. SO IN HIGH HEAT CLIMATES, LIKE FLORIDA, YOU WILL HAVE TO PLAY IT SAFE AND GET THE NEWER X8OO WITH THE SUPER CAPACITOR.(LEARNED FROM THEIR MISTAKE & TOOK ACTION). 5. THIS REALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PRODUCTS ITSELF. BUT, FOR ME ITS WHAT ACTUALLY CAUSED THE DROP IN STARS AND WHAT WAS FOR ME IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR THAT DROP. BEFORE THE X8OO LAUNCH 70MAI GAVE THE OPTION TO PRE-ORDER THE DASHCAM FOR $1 & YOUD GET LIKE $20 OFF THAT COULD BE COMBINED WITH OTHER SALE, OFFER, OR DISCOUNT. I NEVER GOT THE CODE & THE CODE FOR THE POLAR LENS CAP THAT I DID GET DOESNT WORK, SO NO LENS CAP AND THE THING THAT REALLY PISSED ME OFF IS THIS IS FOR 70MAI & AMAZON I BOUGHT THE X8OO ON AMAZON A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER IT WAS THE SAME PRICE IT IS ON 70MAI.COM $279 😠😤😡🤬 TOTAL BS. DIDNT GET MY POLAR LENS DIDNT GET MY PREORDER DISCOUNT AND AMAZON PRICED CHANGED WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER MY PURCHASE AND BEFORE IT WAS SHIPPED OUT, WHICH ACCORDING TO AMAZON IF THE PRICE CHANGES BEFORE SHIPPING THEY WOULD BRING IT DOWN TO THAT PRICE. ALSO IM A PAID AMAZON SUBSCRIBER AND WE'RE SUPPOSED TO GET EARLY SALES AND DISCOUNT BEFORE THEY COME OUT BY 1-3 DAYS BEFORE. BUT WHEN I LOOKED ON A AMAZON.COM WEBPAGE WITHOUT SIGNING IN IT WAS THE SAME PRICE SPRING SALE. THERE ARE PROS TO BOTH CAMERAS BUT I CANT GET PASS THE FACT THAT I PAID OVER $600 FOR THE 2 X8OO, WHEN I SHOULDVE PAID $500. I DIDNT CRY WHEN I PAID WHAT I PAID FOR THE X2OO. ITD BEEN OUT FOR A BIT I DIDNT PAY FOR PREORDERS AND THERE WASNT ANY REAL SALES GOING ON. WHEN THE ISSUES OF THE PURCHASES ARE RESOLVED THE STARS WILL SHINE. THE FOLLOW UP….. LOOK, I DO, LOVE THESE DASHCAM, BOTH THE OMNI’s X200 & X800. I USE MY OLD X200 FOR THE INSIDE CABIN AND USE THE TWO X800’s FOR THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE CARNIVAL WHILE THE TWO BACK CAMS THAT CAME WITH THE NEW OMNI X800, I HAVE SET UP TO LOOK OUT THE SIDES. THEY’RE A BIT ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE, BUT NOT NEARLY AS HIGH AS THE BEST GARMIN’s OR BLACKVEIW’s DASHCAMS. WHY MENTION THOSE TWO PARTICULARLY? BECAUSE, THEY ARE REMOTE VIEWING CAMS AND, NOW IN THE US, SO IS OMNI X200&X800. THE MATTER OF ISSUES #5 HAS BEEN RESOLVED AND IM COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE OUTCOME. THE REPS CALLED ME BACK, EVEN AFTER I’D FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT, 70MAI MADE SURE I GOT MY EARLY ACCESS GIFT AND CODE FOR MY DASHCAMS. I SAID I’D CHANGE THE RATING WHEN RESOLVED AND BECAUSE THEY KEPT THEIR PART I’LL ALWAYS KEEP MINE. EVEN THOUGH I STILL THINK THE ISSUES WITH STORAGE AND STREAMING ALONG WITH A COUPLE OF MORE IDEAS FOR AN OMNI X1400 THAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED IM NOT GONNA RATE A PRODUCT ON SHOULD A COULD A WOULD A, THE LOWER RATING WAS FOR THE EARLY ACCESS CODE AND SOLAR LENS CAP GIFT. 70MAI WILL HELP YOU WITH HONEST MISTAKES AND THEIR PRODUCT BOTH OMNIS ARE AWESOME I RECOMMEND THE COMPANY AND PRODUCT AND HOPE THEY STAY WITH US THROUGH THE TROUBLING TIMES AHEAD.

I already have a basic dashcam and although I was intrigued by features of this camera, I wasn't sure if it would be that much of an upgrade. I mean, the camera I have already records my drives looking out from high on the windshield. What more do I need? Well, I'm really glad I went ahead and purchased this Omni 4K 360 dashcam. I also got the optional hardwire kit so I could connect the power to the camera and have the wiring hidden saving my power port in my vehicle for other uses. First thing I noticed was how different it looks than most basic cams. The camera is mounted on the bottom portion of the camera body and is attached to a rotator motor. This unique design allows the camera lens to quickly rotate toward any point around or inside the vehicle. When the vehicle is parked, the "sentry" mode allows the camera to use AI to spot suspicious activity around the vehicle and the rotating lens can actually track the suspicious person as they walk around the vehicle. this allows the camera to capture any attempted break-in from any direction - not just out front like most cameras. Also, if you are someone who vlogs or takes selfie videos while driving, this camera has a mode just for you. Responding to a single voice command, the lens can spin around and point at the driver and start recording. This makes it unique for capturing excellent, clear, and stable video of the driver. There is also a dedicated rear camera designed to look out the rear window and record from behind. The other thing I love about this camera is how blazing fast the wifi is. I can transfer 4k videos from the camera to my cell phone in seconds.

Got a new vehicle, was time for a new camera, after looking at several options I settled on this one. Great features, voice control, amazing picture out of the front and rear cameras, built in GPS. The rotating camera really comes in useful, able to take video and photos out the driver or passenger sides in addition to in the cabin itself without the need for a 3rd camera (though you can also rotate the rear camera to point inside if you wanted). Really a useful setup without having to install yet a 3rd camera. Installation is quick and easy. Modern USB-C connector for power. Small connector for the 2nd camera, with a plenty long cable. I don't have the hardware kit as mine is wired into overheard power. The screen is a little small, but I don't view video on it anyway. The bear character status screen is amusing for passengers with its animated antics. Connection to my phone is quick, letting you change settings, view live stream, or access stored video and images. Transfer times are ok, but big files will take a few minutes. The camera came with a 128G card, but I replaced it with a 256 for extra capacity. Overall I'm happy with this camera and its features. The price is premium, but it's a new camera with premium features that I hope to use for the next few years. I'm happy to recommend it.

Big improvement from the older version. I wish the rear had the same functionality as the front but it's still a good one. Very clear video and easy to connect to using the application on my phone.

Over time this item has proven not to be as sound as I thought it was upon initial use. It has proven to be unreliable in its video capture and settings set up. Not sure of how the emergency function is truly suppose to operate, and the Bluetooth settings don’t work properly at close range. I started a voice activated recording and it only captured from the time I said record video until the designated end time. No prior recording time was captured like most other dash cams that incorporate a minute or two prior to your request. At times when I make verbal request it will reply with “I cannot perform this function” when it clearly should be able too. Changing the standby screen via Bluetooth only half works. I have yet to see the AI tracking mode work while my car is parked. This camera would be great if it actually lived up to all of its claims!!! As of March 2026 I have further info to report! Now the camera just rotates aimlessly at will and does not link to the WiFi. No way to get into the settings because the camera wound connect to the app via Bluetooth or WiFi. No way to do a hard reset. When pressing the on/off button it will not turn off. So it constantly spins while not recording anything. Not only that I contacted support to no avail. No communication on there part whatsoever. Do not buy this crap!!!

This camera is the best thing I’ve bought; I only installed it a few hours ago, and the video is clear, sharp, and high-definition. The voice command isn't in Spanish, so I'm struggling a bit—though I guess I'll end up learning the language. I don't have the 24-hour surveillance recording available yet because I didn't buy the necessary cable, but I'll have it soon to install it. Thanks; I'm very happy with this product. It has more features, but without the cable, I'm quite limited in using it to its full potential.
