Like The Tilt/Level Feature
Surprisingly accurate. Used it to measure length of fencing. The little feature that tells you if youre tilted too much is extremely helpful

Not for professionals
I hang signs, graphics and banners for large conventions and shows, everything must be perfect and laser distance measures are a huge time saver for me ,, Other guys still fish their tape, claiming they don't trust their accuracy. I trust them just fine and don't show up for work without one. I have 2 Bosch, the red and the green. Other than eating up batteries pretty quick, they are perfect for what I do, but am always looking to see what else is out there. At 1st glance this seems to have the stats of the Bosch, but it doesn't and I will tell you why. * Rotating screen - This is mandatory for hanging banners, else you'd have to crane your neck to see the readout, or learn to read upside. This one does have that. * Main problem is you can't select continuous measurement by default, you always have to give the measure button a long press, then it goes into continuous. Then it emits a series of short beeps, a useless and annoying feature that only eats up batters [could likely mute it, didn't try] Bosch, it stays in the mode you were before, unless and until you change it, then it will stay in that one, so mine is always on continuous. I} turn mine on and off dozens of times a day to conserve batteries, a required long press every single time to get in continuous mode would be ludicrous and a time eater. In fact, every laze I have seen, even cheap $40 ones, have continuous mode as an option. * Big number feature, I need that. Don't want to be squinting to read little numbers ,, This one has that, but guess what ? For whatever reason, and unlike the Bosch, big numbers cannot be used in continuous mode, the 1 mode I need to use. One of those flaws was enough for me but 2 combined was a no brainer deal breaker, I can't use this thing. * 3 AAA's, hmmm. Bosch use 2 AA's those drain quick enough, this has about the same size screen so it would too. So 3 AAA and probably about equal to 2 AA not sure, I do know I hate AAA gadgets and try to avoid them like the plague. Sure you can use rechargeables but they aren't practice in their field, they will run out and you have to buy spares anyhow. High drain devices, use AA sheesh This is nice looking, feature packed and easy to use, would be fine for around the house but falls flat for serious use, maybe they'll make a software revision in another model to fix these shortcomings.

Measuring tool.
Tool. The instructions are really small and difficult. I need to measure the height of a antenn tower but haven’t been able yo get a reading that is correct. I tried measuring from the floor to the ceiling in a room. The actual measurement is 8’. But the tool comes up with 6’ 5”. And i know its wrong. Im sure I must be doing it wrong but after trying multiple times I still havent got it to work properly.

This the first thing i put in my pocket when going on site.
This the first thing i put in my pocket when going on site. I have been using this for almost 2 years now. Every time i questioned a measurement and did it manually, 99% of the time it was spot on. Any time is was off it was a error i made not the laser. Most of my measurements were done outdoors. - The camera on this is incredible for when you can't physically see the dot. - The battery lasts a long time but when using the camera it cuts it in about half. - Charging time is ok when plugged to your computer but much better if you use an adapter. - Works better when the sun light is behind you.
