Great so far (11 month update)
I thought I'd write a quick review because no one else has reviewed this model and it's brand new. I thought it had more than one HDMI because that's my fault for not reading the specs better (I had read specs for many monitors while narrowing it down). So it has just one HDMI, which is OK but it's nice to have a second option. The quality of this monitor is very good. I have one dead pixel, on the right side in the middle. It's definitely noticeable. There is another one on left side that's not quite as bad, I don't know why, the pixel isn't dead but it looks fuzzy. At this resolution I don't think it's a big issue but I'll see if I get used to it. Overall the quality and resolution are great and it works fine with my macbook pro. I get 60 Hz using my USB-C hub and if I plug HDMI direcct I get 100 Hz. I don't see much difference (I'm not playing games) so I just use the hub so I have less things to unplug when I want to take my macbook away from my desk. The height is another issue. I put two books under the stand to raise it 2" which seems much better. I wanted an adjustable stand but the only IPS with adjustable stand was a Samsung which was $50 more. For $50 I will cut a piece of wood and use that. The stand is 6x9" approximately, which I like better than the V shape. Overall I like the monitor so far but this is my first day using it. Update after 1 week: I'm really enjoying this monitor. I use it for my work so I'm using it a lot. It has a lot more space than a 27" and the quality is good. I do notice that with a black screen, there is light bleed in the corners but it's not noticeable while working. I think the text is very sharp. Update after 2 weeks: Still very pleased. Update after 3 weeks: My only regret is not having adjustable height. I use multiple chairs and a standing desk, so height adjustment would have been nice. I cut a block of wood and painted it black and that works fine but it's not adjustable. Also the samsung odyssey is just $30 more. if it was at that price I probably would have tried it instead, so consider that one. But the LG is still excellent and absolutely zero problems! Update after 11 months: Love it and looking to buy another one for a second room.

Excellent!
This 32-inch IPS computer monitor is an absolute powerhouse for both productivity and professional communication. The expansive screen real estate is a total game-changer for multitasking, and the color accuracy remains stunningly consistent from any viewing angle. What truly sets this 2026 model apart is the integrated audio system, which delivers excellent sound quality during video calls. Voices are incredibly crisp and clear. I also appreciate the flicker-free technology and blue light filter that significantly reduce eye strain during long work sessions. It is a premium display that delivers exceptional visual and acoustic performance, completely elevating my remote work experience. So easy to setup and use.

Good value 32" option!
$246.99? This was less than half of my main 32" LG monitor so I was a little hesitant but really needed a bit more screen real estate to run my 3D printer software. I run my original LG at 2560x1440 and wanted the other one to run that as well, and this is the max. So far everything is clear with the only noticeable difference is the text isn't quite as clear. It's good and for a secondary monitor it is great, otherwise video and media show really no difference other than in color as I have not tried to match both yet. I would say if you're looking for a decent 32" monitor with the ability to run with USB-C or HDMI (and you're on a budget) but it. New LG 32U631A-B on left, old LG UNN80-B on right.

Defective
Had it for 3 months then a purple line appeared across th right side, then 2 a week later, then 3. It’s like the bulbs are dying right after I bought it. It feels like the lines increase week after week and get more and more pronounced. Don’t bother get a different one

Great monitor for the money.
5 Stars because of the price point. This monitor is being powered by a GIGABYTE Radeon RX 7600 XT 16GB Graphics Card. So we have a budget monitor being pushed by a budget card. I'll do a separate review on the video card. I love it! So at 32" 1440p and running at 100Mhz, this monitor Rocks! Obviously a 32" monitor running 2K resolution is going to have much sharper fonts and you won't see that sort washing out/banding effect particularly in very dark colors going into black. However, the fonts are sharp on this monitor even if you do production work or read a lot on it. I do old-fashioned Excel work on this monitor with my 71 year old eyes and there is no strain. I also want emphasize that the color washing and banding is really minimal but it is there. The screen lighting is consistent all across and no dead pixels. Again, you have to keep in mind the price point. The stand: This deserves a separate mention. Although there's no height adjustment the foot of the stand takes up very little space! This should be a standard on all large monitors. This monitor replaced a 27" monitor that had a V-shaped foot that took up way too much space. Gaming: If you are a hard core gamer whom expects the utmost fidelity and a super quick screen response, the you will have to pony up more money for the monitor and particularly the graphics card! I have thoroughly enjoyed playing through Red Dead Redemption 2, Halo Infinite and the last two Modern Warfare's. I've only had to make a few graphics drop downs in the graphics settings and this due more to the video card's limitations rather than the monitor's. All in all I am very satisfied with this monitor! Maybe come Christmas time and assuming that prices on graphics cards don't go crazy up I'll upgrade both.

Great Value IPS Monitor for My Needs
Compared with other IPS monitors of a similar size, this LG display is priced very well and offers solid value. The screen isn’t as sharp as higher-end 2K monitors—the vertical resolution is only 1440, so it doesn’t quite give a true 2K feel—and the stand doesn’t support height or tilt adjustment. Color settings are also limited. It only has one hdmi input without DP or VGA ports. However, none of these downsides are essential for my specific needs. I mainly needed decent color accuracy and a slightly larger screen for daily work, and refresh rate is not something I care about. Based on those requirements, this monitor is actually a very good match, especially at this price point. I use it with a standing desk and simply raise the monitor with a few books to get it to a comfortable height. In this setup, it works perfectly well for me. Overall, a good budget-friendly choice if your priorities are similar to mine.

So far so good
I’ve only had it a week but so far it’s been fine. No dead pixels and the resolution is good. I wanted a larger main monitor for playing games and movies and this works quite well. I will update this again in the future.

Great Monitor for Multitasking
Hooked this up to my MacBook with a Thunderbolt cable and it works perfectly. The screen is absolutely huge — my MacBook looks tiny beside it. Bright, vivid colors and excellent clarity. I love that I can have multiple programs open at once without feeling cramped. A total work-from-home essential.

Completely Broken Out of the Box – Super Disappointed!
I bought this LG 32U631A just a few days ago and honestly, I'm super disappointed. Right out of the box, I knew something was off. The screen wouldn't even show a proper image—there were these weird white lines all over the place and it was basically impossible to use. I tried everything: unplugged it, switched cables, hooked it up to my Xbox and my PC, even tried both HDMI and DisplayPort. Nothing changed, just the same glitchy lines and no picture. I was really looking forward to having a big monitor for gaming and schoolwork, but I barely even got to use it before it totally broke. It's so frustrating when you save up and buy something new and it just doesn’t work from the start. For this price, it shouldn’t be broken straight out of the box. Not cool, LG.

Correct
Niveau qualité-prix, elle remplit bien ses fonctions, mais la dalle IPS paraît un peu vieillotte visuellement.
