Excellent Buy
An excellent high quality adjustable stand for my iPad. I don’t know how I managed before having this stand, I use it in the kitchen and in the garden. Many positions for comfortable viewing, good for watching films, tv, playing games and general use. Quite heavy but this does mean it is very stable, absolutely no wobbling. Should last a long time due to the build quality.

Fantastic quality for the price!
I read the reviews, and decided to order this stand. I use this on my iPad in the kitchen to watch YouTube or connect to Sky Go when I’m cooking, it’s ideal as it fits my iPad even with the cover on, it’s the book type cover, It fits better one way than the other, spine side up from memory. It needs to be tightened firmly to take the extra weight with the cover on but once done it’s stays put, without the cover it’s no problem it easily takes the weight, the clamp spring is very strong too, it has been really well engineered. This is a metal and plastic construction stand, it is excellent quality and is perfect to match the quality is of Apple’s products and it surpassed what I was expecting. It’s heavy enough to be stable and the finish is excellent, I can’t think of any negative points, I just hope the plastic parts last and don’t crack in the future, as plastic tends to when it ages. If its still available and should I ever need another, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. Now I just have to get a Bluetooth speaker to get a louder sound from my iPad.

Good Design...
this product is very well made with a very nice finish. very sturdy...if you have the stand sat on a lower or higher platform it makes no difference, you are able to change the angle of the screen you are looking at to suit every situation. the first time you put your device in-between the two "grips" you may find it a tiny bit awkward, but you soon get use to it. I found the best way is to place my mobile onto the bottom grip while pulling upward on the top grip. note...pulling or pushing on either top or bottom grip, will make the other one extend also...good design. to sum up...very useful, very practical...well worth buying...highly recommended

Works very well
Overall, the stand works very well. It has an excellent wide range of motion, and it is VERY sturdy - the base of the stand is truly heavy. There are no worries about the stand falling over unless you try to position your tablet well away from the support of the base (and of course there is no need to do this). My only negative criticism is that if you are interacting with your tablet while it is on the stand (i.e. if you are using the touchscreen), the tablet will wobble a bit in position, which is a little annoying (but not a big deal).

Perfect! Five stars.
You get what you pay for! This stand costs a lot more than some but oh boy is it worth it. Sturdy construction. Quality materials. Easy to assemble. Adjustable in every way. Holds the tablet or phone firmly. You will not be disappointed with this stand. Great for long zoom calls or online working. Five stars!

Great Stand!
Testing it out of the box, it seams like a very solid & well made stand. We'l be using this at our next FIÁIN pop-up store soon. It looks professional & will match well with our Shopify stand and card reader. It's very handy that it swivels around as well, which means we can swivel the iPad around to the customer if they need to enter email address etc. I would highly recommend it.

A good, strong and robust table mount for ipad mini tablet
In comparison to a cheaper gooseneck mount that I sent back, this is far more stable and robust and worth double the price! It can be positioned on bedside table and angled easily to fit most tablets. It also comes with a handy camera attachment. I use it for an iPad and ipad mini. I love the fact that you can type on the tablet without much, if any, wobble. Highly recommend this product. Sometimes it is true to say, 'you pay for what you get'.

Not as flexible or sturdy as expected
I've read the other reviews, and I've also tried and tested other alternatives, I can tell you quite strongly that despite some other people's beliefs, this is in fact not at all the 'best stand in the market'. I have an iPad, and whilst this will hold it in most upright positions, if you want to pull the arm forward a bit for extra reach, the base isn't supportive, or weighted enough to allow you to do so. It simply topples over. If you just want it sat upright then fine, it'll do the job, but so will a dozen other alternatives at half the price. I compared this to a simple bend-neck version at £22 that not only held it securer, but had a much stronger base, and more flexible positioning. Also, whilst the actual stand is of decent quality, the actual part that holds the tablet feels cheap, and again in comparison to other alternatives, doesn't clamp as well, and isn't as well padded. I'm sorry to be negative, I really wanted to love this, I ordered this because being an arm type, I thought it would give me more flexibility and more reach, and I tried it endlessly, but unfortunately I found that it wasn't as strong, flexible, or secure as alternatives that were half the price. Why would I pay double to position the tablet in exactly the same way as something half the price? Unfortunately this offers no real incentive or reason for paying more.

EDIT about a year later: I’m changing this to five stars. The stand is sturdy and versatile, and the clamp loosened up enough over time that now I don’t have any trouble using it with my iPad in its case. This stand is definitely worth five stars. The only two complaints: 1. The clamp is still a bit tight to fit around an iPad in a case *with* room for an Apple Pencil… but that’s a lot to ask, and it does work! 2. It’s pretty easy to accidentally move the arm over into a position where the whole thing then topples over. But it’s also pretty easy to put something heavy on the base if you want it to have a wider range, and if you want a really wide range of movement then get the version with the clamp instead. This appears to be the best tabletop tablet stand out there, overall. The arm is extremely well engineered, the base is heavy and stable and has excellent anti-skid feet. Even the ball joint at the top has enough friction to hold a fairly heavy tablet in place while still being widely adjustable. The only problem is the clamp that holds the tablet. If you compare it to the “retail kiosk” tablet stand from the same manufacturer AddTek, which is probably visible on this page, you can see that clamp has plenty of locations to grip it to be able to pull out against the force of the spring. And if you compare to a couple other brands that both start with L, which I’m also seeing on this page, you see clamps that have metal bars for the sliding part which allows you to grip inside the clamp ends, and another one that has actual red loops around the outside to give a strong handhold. This one, the only way to grip it at all is a tiny little smooth plastic lip. I am very strong, I can max out a 200-lb grip strength meter, but the awkwardness of this clamp design makes it a real pain to use. I can get it on and off of my 11” iPad Pro if I place the stand on a table in front of me so I have clear access with both hands, but trying to, say, reach down from above while standing and release the iPad with one hand... well, that’s basically not possible with this design. I have another tablet holder that is a clamp on top of a standard music stand, and the spring is just as tight but it is much, much easier to operate because I can get a finger inside the mechanism and pull easily when it’s open. If you plan to use this with a phone or a small tablet like an iPad mini, I don’t think you will have any trouble. If you plan to use it with a full-size tablet like an iPad Pro 11”, and you intend to put the tablet in the stand and then never take it out, well then this will work really, really well for you, because the tablet certainly won’t ever fall out accidentally! But if you want to use it intermittently with a full-size tablet, especially a tablet with a protective case, you will find this very awkward and difficult to use and I can’t recommend it for that use case. This is really very disappointing because in literally every other way this stand is perfect, it’s head and shoulders above all the competition. And it’s especially disappointing that the clamp is so poorly designed since this same manufacturer sells other tablet holders that look like they are much, much better. I’m hoping the manufacturer reads this (and the dozens of other reviews complaining about the clamp being hard to operate!) and does a straightforward redesign.
