Absolute bargain. Great screen, great cameras, battery life easily over a day and I'm a heavy user, self employed, spending many hours per day on the phone. Responsive, looks great and for once, the UI is so good that I didn't install nova. Excellent phone, don't get that pixel you're looking at! I wouldn't have been disappointed with it if I'd spent anything up to £500.

Okay, so I’ve been using the Nothing Phone 3a for a bit now and… yeah, I’m really liking it. It’s one of those phones that just feels different—in a good way. Looks First, Because Damn Let’s be real—the design is what pulls you in. That transparent back with the LED Glyph lights? Super slick. It actually makes me want to put the phone face-down just so people can see it. Nothing else looks like this, especially in this price range. The Screen’s a Win The display is buttery smooth at 120Hz, super bright, and colors pop. Whether I’m watching videos, gaming, or just scrolling around, it looks and feels premium. Performance = Solid Day-to-day stuff? No lag. Games? Runs them just fine. Apps open quick, multitasking’s smooth, and Nothing OS is super clean—no junk, no weird UI stuff, just clean Android the way it should be. Cameras Get the Job Done The main camera is sharp, and photos look nice straight out of the phone—especially in good lighting. Night shots are decent too. It’s not going to beat a top-end flagship, but for this price? I’ve got no complaints. Battery Life & Charging = Clutch Battery life is actually really good—it easily lasts a full day, and the fast charging is a lifesaver. 50% in under 20 minutes? Yes please. What Could Be Better? No wireless charging, no headphone jack. Not dealbreakers for me, but worth knowing. Also, the cameras could use a little boost in low light or with detail—just being picky. Final Thoughts Honestly? Summary This is the best phone to get under £400, and even beats phones outside of its price bracket (looking at you iPhone SE!). This is the coolest phone I’ve ever used, and I would happily use it if I wasn’t already using a flagship phone. Nothing - please make a flagship version of this phone that looks the exact same! Build Quality This is the coolest looking phone I’ve ever held! The back of the phone is an eye catcher, and the display isn’t too bad either. Picture is clear and colours are punchy and accurate. Refresh rate is a smooth 120hz, and it didn’t dip at all in my experience. Performance Despite having a mid range processor, this phone is smooth in day to day operation. I didn’t have any hiccups even when installing all my apps on first set up. The phone didn’t even get hot! Only place it did lag a bit was processing multiple photos at once. Battery I didnt use this phone a whole lot to get an extensive idea of what battery life is like, but it came out of the box with 55% at 11am, now it’s 5PM and after setting up the phone, taking photos, listening to music and browsing TikTok it’s on 40%. That’s really impressive in my mind! Only downside here is that it doesn’t have wireless charging. Sound quality The speakers on this are insanely good - why has no one mentioned this in reviews before? IMO it sounded better than my iPhone 15 pro max Cameras The cameras are really, really good for a mid range phone. I wish the ultra wide was a higher megapixel and the zoom was a bit more but otherwise I was REALLY happy with the photos that came out of this!

After using this for some time I can say overall it's a great phone. It's heavier than I expected. The screen is bright and clear. The phone is very responsive and I've not noticed any lag, but I'm not a gamer on my phone. The only thing I wasn't keen on at first is the Nothing OS, it's all mono coloured, but you can change the app drawer layout which helps greatly, it's ability to group apps in groups is a step forward but you can't override them to correct mistakes, but I use Nova Launcher as a replacement. Overall I like the camera, the lack of a macro function is a shame, but the rest works fine. I've got used to not having an SD card slot, but if it had that it would make a brilliant phone.

Great quality android phone & value for money. This is exactly what i needed. a few points: - The battery life is pretty solid, even a few months after purchase. I get around 2 days with heavy useage. - The OS offers a great, snappy, clean experience. - Camera quality is good, espically for price. - I can't fault the screen or sound quality - I've even started using the essential space feature and find it useful. - Also lots of fun to be had with customising the widgets (some great community ones too), icon & glyph lights.

Lovely Phone, very smooth and easy to navigate, feels Premium, doesn't feel heavy or chunky, I don't have a case as it would spoil it's unique look, and being of older generation I don't walk around glued to the screen so less likely to drop Phone, all on all a great experience so far.

Fantastic phone. Needed a replacement for my pixel 7 but wasn't keen on the current Google offerings, so decided to take a chance with nothing, and I have to say I'm very happy with that decision. Ui and interface are perfect, screen is almost too bright and colours are vivid, text is sharp and very clear. The speakers are a stand out feature I hadn't seen mentioned in many reviews, but if you need to play something loud they can deliver a surprising level of volume. The glyph interface on the back is a good bit of stylish fun, and the build quality is perfect. 10 out of 10 all round.

I rarely review items, but this phone has surpassed my expectations. I'm coming from a OnePlus 7t Pro which was top of the line 6 years ago, but now a geriatric case needing lunchtime and evening top-up charges just to make it through the day. The Nothing 3a is a breath of fresh air. I use my phone, a lot. I work in IT so it's constantly on the go. I'm currently on 33% battery and last charged 36hrs ago. Camera is great, phone is quick, and easy to use. Knockout feature for me is the essential space app, I took a picture of some handwritten notes, it transcribed and summarised them, then added appointment to my calendar. It's a massive timesaver. Downside is now my wife wants one.

Ik ben blij verrast door dit tot voor kort voor mij totaal onbekend merk met : zeer goede camera, snel opgeladen batterij met een lange gebruiksduur. Oled scherm, snelle processor, 265 gb opslag. En niet te vergeten, prettig geprijsd. Een Aanrader !

Echt een hele goede aankoop! Dit is mijn eerste Nothing Phone en ben super tevreden. De allerbeste in zijn prijsklasse. Mooie foto's, geen bloatware, hij ziet er ook leuk uit, enz.. Top!
