Works well !!!

I got this for my boyfriend who currently lives in a pretty dry and cold state, so his nose gets stuffy or bleeds alot from the lack of moisture in the air. After complaining for ages and doing nothing about it 🙄 I got him this thing and he is OBSESSED. He uses it all day every day. Its not too bright — bout the same level as a little kids nightlight. It's very easy to operate and easy to clean, it shuts off automatically though so definitely refill it with some water before bed if you want it on while you sleep. There was no weird scent when he took it from the box which is great. You can also easily add scent oils, but you only need a drop or it may be too strong. It's pretty decently sized, itd be good for small apartments or dorms!

There are a tonne of these types of diffusers on Amazon right now from various different brands. They all look about the same so check around for the best price. I was offered a review sample of this product, but ended up buying it at full price, so my review is going to be a fair and honest opinion for buying this product NOT AT A DISCOUNT :) In general I think diffusers are fantastic. I live in a very dry climate right now and I wake up with nosebleeds, so I like having something that adds a bit of humidity in the air. To be able to add essential oils and fragrance is even better. I own about 4 different diffusers, and I would say this one is my 2nd favourite of the bunch (my favourite is still a Saje one also pictured for its looks but not the 3x price.) Here are the reasons I like this a lot: 1) Large capacity. Some of the other diffusers I’ve owned have a smaller water cavity. I like that with this unit I can hold up to 500ml of water (approx. 2 cups). That allows this diffuser to run through the night. If I keep the diffuser close to the hallway and keep my doors open I can smell this scent across almost the whole house. 2) Timer – I particularly love running my diffuser with scented oils for about an hour before guests come till shortly after they arrive. Having the timer function of 1, 2 or 3 hours is really helpful. 3) Auto-off – there is a sensor that prevents this diffuser from staying on if it’s out of water. VERY Handy for keeping it on at night and falling asleep. I deliberately filled this low just to see what happens. As soon as it got low it turned off. 4) Price. Before this, I’d been buying my diffusers from Saje. They are might more attractive, but also MUCH more expensive. For the fact that my diffuser is usually tucked in the corner of the room out of the way, I’d rather pay ½ the cost for more functionality. One note - since there are a lot of these diffusers that all look the same, check around for the best price at the time of order. I didn’t think I’d care for the different light options, but it actually turned out much nicer than the product photos. It's a bit bright for a nightlight, but fun in the evening. In terms of how much fragrance to add – depending on the quality of your essential oils, anywhere from 5-10 drops of oil works well for a diffuser this size. I use a full 10 drops when I really want the room(s) to smell, and about 5 drops if I want it subtle. Any less and you can’t smell it; any more and it’s overpowering. While I find Saje diffusers a bit overpriced, I absolutely LOVE their scents. (I have no affiliation with them) They are a Canadian brand with free shipping to the US. I like to keep my diffuser running with Tranquility or Refresh. Only gripe (minor) I have with this diffuser is that the power connector plug is at the bottom of the unit. It’s a lot more discrete this way, but I find myself accidentally tipping the container and spilling the water when I’m trying to plug it in. I’m sure the non-klutzes out there don’t have this problem though. Overall, I think this is a decent value diffuser and one I’d recommend.

It works well. When filling it, as you can't see the mark on the inside to know where to fill it, if you turn on the light feature, it shows the lines through to the inside so you know where to fill it. It lasts at least 8 hours. Towards the end of it running, it makes little clicking sounds, which could be irritating; but it's time to get up then, anyway, or refill it. It puts out a small mist, but not intended to be like a larger vaporizer/humidifier. I like that you can choose the lighting feature to have rotating colors, or turn that off. I watched the video on Amazon before I chose to purchase it, and am glad I did, as it was helpful. Also, make sure to read the enclosed instructions.

UPDATED REVIEW: I returned my first one and requested a replacement. The second one DEFINITELY has better mist output. If you don’t get a good strong mist, it might be defective so request a replacement, for sure. I’m glad I gave it a second chance. The new one works great. The first video is the old device, that I had to return. The photo is the new device that has better mist. The replacement worked exactly as expected. OLD REVIEW: I don't know if I got a dud, but I can barely tell if it is on and the smell is not very strong, despite putting quite a bit of essential oil drops. I don't see very strong mist. It's extremely quiet, so that is nice, but I can barely smell anything coming out. Not sure if mine is defective.

This item has a big enough water reservoir that it last for hours. My previous item only uses 1/4 of cup and last only over an hour. This one runs for well over 4 to 6 hours. It does take a while for full mist. I use this when I miss my mom. I spray her favorite perfume and the house smells like as if she is still here. Some may think this is creepy, but for those who lost their mother will understand.

Still using it after one year. Why they won't make humidifiers with the same materials as this unit so essential oils can be used in them is beyond me.

Love this unit. The colors are gorgeous and it runs for a long time. It is completely silent which is nice at night. I gave it 4 stars because it isn't completely dark when the light is turned off when I use it in my bedroom. I was disappointed in that but use it in other rooms as well so it doesn't matter too much.

Based on other reviews and research on diffusers I thought this one would be great. What a let down. Perhaps I had the wrong impressions about diffusers and how they worked, but I found this diffuser wasn't great. It worked good for the first hour or two but after that the essential oil smell faded fast. By the end of the 500ml there was no smell. (Diffuser was in bedroom with closed door). I also found the power light bright and lit up my roo lm at night. The motor is quiet ish, but you hear the bubbling and dripping of water. The different lights are cool. And bright. Overall, I am not satisfied with this product.

I LOVE this diffuser - it lasts for so long, automatically shuts off, the coloured light is so peaceful, it's easy to fill, there are measurements to see how much water is left, there are options for length of time on and what coloured light, etc. BUT the price has jumped a massive amount. I paid $50 at Christmas time and I see now the cost is almost $90 plus $25 for shipping, ouch! I will note, like an older reviewer has, that as the water dwindles, the scent does too, so I usually add a couple more drops of oil halfway through.
