The only thing is using an automatic pencil sharpener you can often over sharpen and use your pencil up faster. This has some type of sensor to stop though and it is very quick. Pencils are generally cheap and you want to be able to get a good point quickly. The options with this sharpener, the ease of containing and dumping the shavings, and the price make it a desirable option. I would definitely recommend.

Great gadget to have. Sure its not super small like a normal sharpener but it works a treat. My daughter was forever sharpening pencils and then the tip would break or it wasnt sharp or the lead was caught in the blade - needless to say we always had pencil shavings on the floor and pencils that were half the size compared to before we starting sharpening. With this gadget its a quick push in and push out and the job is done. Perfect

Completely satisfactory for home use -- but not built for office use.

This sharpener worked great for a short time and then it broke down within a year of purchasing.

The media could not be loaded.  - No info on country of manufacture, but there's a phone # with a China country code and instructions were (poor) English and Chinese.- The "6-8mm" thing does not come off- Empty from the top lid, quarter turnI personally think the info on the box is confusing, so I'll mention it takes either 4 AA batteries or comes with a power cord to USB, plus an AC adapter. I like options.Box says "proprietary technique". Looks like a very old fashioned spiral shaver to me, but it works just fine.The box and the unit itself say they're "Tihoo", but Vine info says "Ofoice". Since neither one is any more descriptive or recognizable than the other, I don't know that it matters.I do think the shavings bin is plenty large for home use, maybe even if you're an artist. It's a bit high whine motor, but it's only a few secs at a time so no biggie.While it isn't light weight, does not feel flimsy at all, I could use a little more anchor weight. You can see it move a bit on the video I made.Nothing really special, but it's decent looking, works quick and well, has enough capacity for me, and power options. My package arrived exactly on the day and in perfect condition. The sharpener did not fail to please. Of course tried it straight away and perfect sharpened pencils every time. This feels a good quality product and one that will last for a long time. No more aching hands and fingers using old rubbish sharpeners. This is perfect. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This Sharpener was the right choice for me. It sharpens my pencils the correct amount without waste of over sharpening. The Derwent pencils are wider so it is a snug fit, but really works well. I would highly recommend this pencil sharpener.

Works exactly as expected. Kids use colouring pencils all the time and they constantly need to be sharpened, this device achieves this quickly with little effort.
