Grandson (5 years) totally loved this product. He dug them out on a large tray. Potentially messy but fun. The gems looked very interesting.

Would definitely recommend for all ages.
If I could give this item more stars I definitely would. My grandson who’s 3 is currently into fossils and digging up stuff. He absolutely loved this. We gave lots of support and encouragement and when he finally didn’t want to do it anymore ( after around a week of digging for 10/20 minutes a day). We experimented with it and put it into a bowl of water to break it down. Which he loved too. He would usually find a gemstone and start to look at that and no longer want to dig for gems. Definitely definitely recommend.

Good product but missing 1 gemstone
My son absolutely loved this, but was sad when he only had 9 gemstones within the block and not the 10 as advertised.

I bought this gemstone dig kit for my 8- and 10-year-old daughters, and they absolutely loved the excavation! They had so much fun digging out the gems, and they treat the stones like real treasures. The tools are easy to use, the activity kept them entertained for a long time, and the gems are beautiful. A perfect hands-on science activity for kids. Highly recommended!

Les pierres sont petites et les photos plus belles que les pierres donc malgré une petite déception mon petit fils a aimé "fouillé" pour les découvrir..attention 😀 prévoir une protection efficace de l’enfant et de la table ou il fait ses découvertes..mais bon c’est vite nettoyé aussi ..
