Excellent Pump
Installed today. Was a little worried that it was an actual plug-in power cord instead of hardwired to my pool breaker. Had to install a quick outlet by the breaker which really wasn’t a big deal. Once I had it all installed and I kicked the power on all doubt went away. Super quiet. Super powerful. It’s only been a few hours so we’ll see how it goes during the week and running for 10 hours per day, every day but so far so good. My pool vacuum hasn’t run this good in years. Extremely happy with it and for the price you cannot beat it. Appears to be built very well. I’m almost shocked at how cheap it was and how well it works versus my previous $900 Hayward.

Good pump, for the price, does the job well.
The media could not be loaded. After getting fed up with the wayward pump motor going bad on me for the 2nd time just after 6 years... I decided to take a chance and getting the cheapest 3 HP in the market with a programmable timer. Installed it this morning without any major challenges. Had to replumb the outlet, but I was able to link up the inlet and make it work with the existing plumbing.It works well... quiet, good suction power, is able to move my pool vac quite well, zero leaks so far. Even if it lasts me 2 years, it would be cheaper than the stupid $2,000 pump that I replaced this with.The pump is about 2" shorter than the one I had, but the general inlet and outlet footprint is the same, so not too complex to plumb it.

STRONG pump!
Strong performance for my 33k ga 20x40 pool. Great self priming and a workhorse. Pulls water from my skimmers and shoots it out of my four return wall jets. Easy install with factored in re-plumbing. Water recirculation just as advertised. Overall, just what I was needing.Two weeks later…I HAVE to re-emphasize the strength of this pump. The pool water is circulating like never before, my skimmers are pulling in copious amounts of water and debris, and the 4 sidewall jets are like JETS. FABULOUS pump…fabulous! 10 days after opening, adding my chemicals to the salt pool as usual, it’s crystal clear due to the rapid circulation. LOVE IT!

Good pump but no way to bypass timer
The pump works great and is easy to install. The only drawback is there is no way to bypass the timer that will turn the pump on at the same time every day.

Powerful suction
This has a lot of suck power! My 1.5hp pump wasn't cutting it for 18'x36' inground pool. This pump has been cleaning debris off the top of the pool like a champ. The vacuuming powre has cut my time in half and really gets stuff off the bottom. The connectors or holes are an odd size but husband made it work. It seems more quiet than my previous pump so that's a bonus. It is not variable speed but I leave it on all the time since it helps circulate water through the heater. I like it so far and was a good price compared to more expensive 3hp pumps. Happy so far. I'll update if problems occur.

Poor inlet/outlet design
Pump itself seems fine but the inlet and outlet connections are only threaded on the outside which means you need to use the compression fittings supplied with the pump which are for metric pipe size. 1.5 inch CPVC pipe is too small for the supplied connector and therefore won't seal. The thread is also very course (not standard 2.5 inch thread) so I haven't been able to find a replacement fitting that'll work.

Love the dual speed option!
Easy installation and I like the dual speed option. If you have had a pool pump before, you know how loud they can be. I like that this gives you the option of keeping some water circulating, while staying very quiet and saving some electricity. I also love that it has an on-off switch as several of my prior pumps have not. It seems like a simple thing, butI hated having to pull the plug or on my old pumps to shut them off. The pressure at 2 HP is plenty for our 25' above ground pool and it helps keep the pool clean while only running a few hours a night. I can't speak to it's longevity, but if it has any problems, I will report back.

Beautiful price, waiting for durability
The current pool pump is very good and the noise is less than that of the American ones. But it gets hot after running for 2 hours, maybe the heat dissipation is not as good as that of the American ones. So I don't run it for more than 2 hours at a time, hoping to increase its usage time.
