Perfect for the road
This item is sturdier and fits into my top shirt pocket perfectly. I am on the road and forever need to record notes for each job. It also is good for standard notebook sizes, so easy to buy refills that will fit.

High Quality
These pads are tough leather. I was a comfortable several years and carried one of these regularly. Can't wear them out, but unfortunately you can loose them. Buy 2 while your at it.

3X5 - look no further
Excellent design. Sizing for the pads to fit in and be covered is perfect. Firmness of leather is also perfect for backing the notepad during writing. The spiral Mead pads that are easily found anywhere fit nicely. I shopped around quite a bit for a well-designed and fabricated leather 3X5 pad holder and it took a while to come across this one. Glad I did.
