Got this for a party as part of the decor! It worked well!

When we have guests staying over, we put up a little sign in the bedroom, alongside amenities to make their stay a comfortable one. They always love the sign since it is a great added touch that makes them feel very welcome. It is extremely easy to change up, and can be used for many occasions but this is our favorite one.

This Lightbox is SO fabulous. Can I just tell you how much we love it in our house? We've used this to say farewell to friends at their going away party we hosted, expressing shock that our son is now a rising 7th grader & to welcome our son back from camp. We'll use this also for inspiring quotes, Bible verses and so much more! This is such a high quality product and the customer service is great. I wanted to order an additional set of letters but was unclear what size was appropriate and I received timely information. If you order then, go ahead and order an extra set of letters. They do have at least two for almost all of the alphabet and more for the more popular ones. But we did have to substitute a Z (which was the sound) for an in our first sign. The set either has 3 or 4 S letters and even more vowels I believe. Right now, I'm storing the letters in a plastic bag but will probably buy, if I don't have one already, a small container to keep the letters in. The letters are flat in the packaging but there is no room to store them in the box once you take the letters apart (which is easy to do & all the edges are smooth) & then alphabetize them. We will be using this awesome Lightbox both on a regular basis and for special events. Our son loves this as much as we do!!

This is the 12x9 size. For reference, the desk in this pic is 60x24, and the iMac is 27in.If you can buy for less than $20 it's an ok deal. I wouldn't spend $40.Not as bright as I expected, but it's ok. The picture is brighter than the actual product. In real life, there's light grey spots in the corners, so the light doesn't really fill the box. I just plugged it in and it's already flickering.The USB "power" cord isn't an actual power cord, you need an adapter, and the cord is about 4ft. I'm gonna have to figure out power long term and I'm not happy about that.It's lightweight, wouldn't take much to tip over. Definitely would not recommend for outdoor or professional use.This is a novelty item, I have no confidence it will hold up which is fine for a home office.I may return it, but I'm gonna try it out for a few days and see if the flickering continues.UPDATE: The flickering stopped after a couple of hours of use. I turn this on for a couple of hours a day, sometimes it's on for 8-12 hours and it's remained steady. My wife loves it, so we're keeping it. I still think 3 stars is the appropriate rating given the normal list price and how unevenly the light fills the box.

My teen asked for this for their birthday and their younger sibling decided this is what they wanted to give them. The teen opened the box, wrote they are the greatest and was quite pleased. The light box does have little nubs to keep the letters/symbols on the line and has three lines. It is about 6” x 8”. The extra letters/symbols all fit inside a storage area on the backside so it lessens the possibility that you will lose any. This can be operated by a USB cord (plug not included, the bane of our modern world) or by batteries. My teen is happy and enjoys it in their room. Knowing my kid, the message will not change often from them being the greatest! I hope this review helped and thank you for reading!
