It’s an ok tracker so far

My son broke his original after a yr. I almost got the kids one but decided I still like this better for him. It has so many extras! I got 2 charging cords, 2 screen protectors, a reusable screen cloth, and the 3 sprot bands are so pretty but it also came with the solid black band and a longer one as well. So he is set for as long as the band connection holds out. That's what broke on the original one. We're the band connected.

I had a fitbit 4 for several years, it broke and I wanted a smart watch compatible with my Iphone, but not an Apple watch, so I just upgraded to the Charge 6. I love the brightness of the screen and the new color features make it easy to see in low light. The batter life is not the same as the 4 which I could wear all week and not have to charge, but I can still get 3 days out of it before it needs to charge over night. The price point is great and I love the benefits of the app.

I’ve owned Fitbits since 2015 the charger that came with this brand new charge 6 does not have a strong enough magnet to hold to the back of the watch to charge consistently. It was plugged in for two hours and only went up one percentage point. Fortunately, I have my other charger with a stronger magnet, and it holds tighter to the watch and charges without interruption.

So far, a couple weeks in, holding up well. All items listed arrived in the package. The watch itself is similar to other FITBIT products, so navigation is pretty intuitive if you have used them before. Sync with my existing app was easy as well, replacing my previous device for the new Charge 6. Original wrist band and additional three bands (black, blue, green, nice if you are looking to match your apparel) are good silicone models and have the standard adjustment. Swapping bands is easy, though I chose a separate elastic style band (pair of black and burgundy) here as my wrist is just between standard adjustments on the other bands. Charger and cables are functional and easy to use. Only down side is the two (2) screen protectors, which the adhesive stayed on the paper rather than transferring to the protective screen, so neither would adhere to the face of the watch. Otherwise, the small size makes it hardly noticeable for weight and wear, though it does result in a smaller display. Sleep monitor and Heart Rate monitors work well and have been matching my other devices, so they seem to calibrate well.

I've been wearing this daily for about 6 months. I'm in construction and I don't use caution towards this watch. It's certainly holding up well to my abuse. I love the week long battery life. It's a simple watch with not many features which I like. I just want to monitor my heart rate and have my phone calls vibrate my wrist while running equipment. If this thing ever dies, I'll buy another one. I'll also note that customer service is great. I had a stupid charger issue (my fault) that was easily resolved.

I’ve been a loyal Fitbit customer for over a decade and have owned multiple Charge-series devices, trackers, and a Fitbit scale. Unfortunately, my experience with the Fitbit Charge 6 has completely undermined my trust in the brand. I purchased a new Fitbit Charge 6 on Amazon in June 2025. The device registered without issue, Fitbit accepted the serial number, and Fitbit’s own system displayed a valid warranty expiration date of June 18, 2027. Less than six months later, the device failed completely. Despite this, Fitbit denied warranty coverage, stating the product was sold by an “unauthorized reseller” on Amazon—even though: Fitbit registered the device and validated the serial number Fitbit displayed an active warranty tied to that serial number No warning was provided at purchase or registration that warranty coverage could be voided The failure occurred well within the stated warranty period When I escalated the issue, Fitbit’s Supervisor Team simply reiterated the same position and advised me to “contact the reseller or Amazon” and added, “We appreciate your understanding regarding our global warranty policies.” The problem? Those “global warranty policies” are not disclosed at the point of purchase, there is no practical way to contact Amazon third-party resellers directly, and Amazon simply states that the 30-day return window has expired. In other words, the consumer is left with no remedy at all—despite buying in good faith and relying on Fitbit’s own warranty confirmation. This creates an unacceptable situation where Fitbit allows consumers to: Register a device See a valid warranty Rely on that warranty …only to have coverage denied when the product fails. That is not transparency. It is retroactive disclaimer. If you buy a Fitbit on Amazon—even a new device that Fitbit registers and shows as under warranty—you may still have zero manufacturer support if anything goes wrong. This approach leaves consumers totally exposed and sends a clear message: Fitbit will honor its warranty only when convenient. Caveat emptor—let the buyer beware—if you order from Fitbit, Amazon, or their loosely governed reseller ecosystem.
