I ordered this wrap for my 12 year old son to use after pitching in baseball games. It's a little big for him, but works well enough and I think he will grow into it this year. We also used the ice pack part on his knee when he got hit. As an average sized woman, it fits more snugly on me. The ice pack is medium sized, a durable plastic and the gel is pliable to bend. Very happy and believe it will last a long time.

Pro: Very high quality materials. Keeps my sore shoulder cool for 30 mins. Very affordable. Fits me well (5'7" male, 36"chest). Cons: strap is a little challenging to manage one-handed, would benefit from a click-in buckle in front. It wants to slide down rather than rest on top of the shoulder, so would benefit from a short, wide strap across the top to pull the sides together a bit. Tips: Fasten the strap on the back buckle, leave it as long as possible for easier handling with the other hand when putting it back on. Freeze the whole thing with the insert in place, wrapped loosely over a small empty can or jar so it is already shaped for your arm when frozen. Leave the bottom tabs connected so you can slide it up your arm. Buy the extra insert if you don't want to wait 2 hours for the next round of cold. Or buy the 2-pack of 5" x 10" Rester's Choice gel packs, one of those fits in this sleeve well enough for me.

This shoulder gel pak is easy to get on and off, fits just right. Better them the blue shoulder gel pak I bought the same day.

I used this product after doing my at-home PT exercises for my shoulder. I warm my shoulder muscles using a hot pad, do the exercises, and cool down my shoulder using the ice pack wrap. It is easy to put on without assistance and stays cold for at least an hour in my house at 69 degrees. The ice pack is comfortable to wear, is not heavy, and does not impede movement. So much for my getting out of doing the dishes! Highly recommended.

I bought this for my wife's very painful shoulder/rotator cuff strain. Used in combination with an arm sling (also from Amazon ) it really relieved the pain for her. Well-made, sturdy and easy to use-you'll need help putting it on though. It's a one piece gel pack with built-in strap that goes in to the freezer between uses.

Apparantly my issue needs more than just support but, this thing does help some. Pros : 1. Fits well and not too hard to situate. 2. Heatable/Freezable Gel-pack included. 3. Does provide some support 3. Usable on either shoulder Cons: 1. Just didn't provide as much support as I was hoping but, some beats none (probably due to my issue and not the brace). 2. The front buckle on the positioning strap keeps wanting to pull sideways (loosening the snugness and crinkling up the strap so, that kinda gets on my nerves a little). Overall, I'm satisfied with it. It's versatility (hot/cold & usable on either shoulder) justifies the purchase (if only for what it does for me now plus, what I may need it for in the future). Really helps with sleeping (rolling over on side/shoulder) I gave it a 4 but, could reach a 4.5 star rating.

My wife has torn her tendons in her shoulder and whilst waiting for surgery the doctor has recommended cold treatment. This shoulder cold pack is excellent. It's well made and has a nice feel to it. You can buy an extra ice pack insert if you need it. It fits and holds well, even on a smaller person. It took about 30 minutes to freeze (but stays flexible) and provided about 30 minutes of therapy. We haven't tried heating it but I'm sure it will work just as well. It is fiddly to put on and really needs someone doing it for you (especially if you already have a painful shoulder!!). Definitely recommend this is you need a shoulder ice pack that stays where you need it. At under $30 it's great value for money. Full 5 stars.

The material quality of this ice pack is extremely good and it feels very durable. However, I purchased it for shoulder impingement syndrome, and it wasn't as effective for that specific issue as I had expected. It's a great product, but it might not be the best design for every type of shoulder pain.
