Manual Breast Pump

I’ve been using the Mandela manual breast pump and overall, it’s been a really convenient and reliable option—especially for quick, on-the-go pumping. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble, and doesn’t require batteries, which makes it perfect for travel or keeping in a diaper bag. The suction is surprisingly effective once you get the hang of it, and I like that you can control the speed and pressure yourself. It’s also fairly comfortable with the soft flange, and I’ve been able to get a decent amount of milk in a short amount of time. One of the biggest pros is how quiet it is—you can use it anywhere without drawing attention. Cleaning is simple too since there aren’t a ton of parts. The only downside is that your hand can get tired during longer sessions, so it’s better for occasional use rather than exclusive pumping. Manual pumping does take more effort compared to an electric pump, but it’s a great backup or supplement. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for moms who want something affordable, portable, and easy to use.

This manual hand pump works well but there’s definitely some things that could be improved. I did not like that it only came with one size flange and you have to order a different size separately if the one provided does not fit you which was my case. They should offer the set with the option to select the size you need rather than being stuck with a flange you don’t need and having to spend more money on your correct size. Also, it would be nice if the set came with two cups rather than just one so you can collect milk with the hands free flange while you manually pump from the other breast. Otherwise, the hands free suction is only semi useful while breastfeeding your baby. I have only used the hands free suction once because of this. I have used the manual pump several times now and it is easy to take apart to wash and easy to put back together. I really like the silicone collector cup that it comes with and the lid for the cup so you can store your milk in that same cup. The flange is softer than other brands I have used in the past and really comfortable if you’re using the correct size. Once I ordered my correct flange size the suction was also fine. The price point is pretty much similar to other similar pumps from other well known brands so if the only thing that really differentiates this pump is the “2 in 1” it’s not exactly a highlight for considering I can only use one suction type at a time.

I love this breast pump! I have purchased all kinds of others including electric, manual, wearables, and milk collectors. This one is my favorite. I’m able to control the speed and strength of suction and collect so much more milk in a shorter amount of time. I appreciate that it came with the part to make it a haakaa as well.

I LOVE this hand pump so much. I feel like it empties me out more, is comfortable to use, and super easy to clean. I had the Madela have pump before and like this one better. However there are definitely a few improvements to be made. 1) how the cup attaches. Like some other reviews have stated, the collection cup does not screw in tightly and often wiggles from it's position, causing many close calls of almost having to cry over spilled milk 2) I would love to see it come with flange inserts. In this day and age is criminal to not include inserts with the pumps

I’m really glad I got this pump. What I like most is that it’s basically two pumps in one — I can use it manually or just attach the silicone suction cup to collect milk while I’m nursing. It saves time and makes things so much easier. It’s super lightweight and doesn’t require cords or batteries, which makes it easy to bring along when I’m out or at work. The handle feels comfortable in the hand, and the soft flange is much gentler than other pumps I’ve tried. Cleaning is quick since there aren’t a lot of parts, and I also appreciate that it’s made with safe, BPA-free materials. Overall, this pump is simple, practical, and really helpful for busy moms. Highly recommend!

It doesn’t have the strong suction of an electric pump, but for quick sessions or on-the-go use, it’s perfect. Overall, this has been a reliable and affordable option that I reach for often.

Giving this a four star only because the cups are screwed on but they are so loose that they can easily be unscrewed if you accidentally swipe something next to it. Given its silicone it’ll stick too. I’ve had plenty of times where I pump on my bed and it made traction with my blanket and almost fell out. Other than that, it’s a great pump! It does get squeaky after pumping for a while but it is manual. It’s comfortable with all the silicone but that can also be a drawback because cleaning it, you gotta wait longer for it to dry. It also has a million pieces so cleaning can be a pain. Overall I do like it. I tried the medela pump and I definitely prefer this one! I ended up buying 2 so I can pump on both sides as I am an exclusive pumper!
