BV Adjustable Bicycle Bike Kickstand with Concealed Spring-Loaded Latch, for 24-29 Inch Bicycles

Really like this bike stand, was intrigued by the fact it was centre mounted rather than a side kickstand, and wasn't disappointed. Was fairly easy to fit and if your bike has a mounting for it, it will just attach straight on with the bolt supplied. Mines was a different design, and needed the longer bolt and the bracket, however was still easy to fit onto the centre mounting of the bike, only requiring an allen key to tighten it up.It also has adjustable length legs, to suit different sizes of frames and different desired heights. These are easily adjusted by loosening the screw with an allen key, and sliding the leg up or down.Stand works smoothly enough, just lift the back of the bike slightly and move the stand down with your foot, and it snaps into place. Putting it down is simply a matter of rolling your bike forward off the stand, and moving the stand back towards its mounting, and it will snap back closed.The kickstand also allows you to turn the backwheel and work on the gears etc while the bike is on the stand. Saves turning the bike upside down/if you don't have a proper bike repair stand.The only small negative that could be said was the fact that it weighs more than side leaning kickstands, but this was not much of an issue for me, and the benefits far outweigh (pun intended) the negative.If you think this review has assisted in your decision to purchase (or not purchase) this item, please indicate it has been helpful.Many thanks!

Situation:Having recently moved into a flat a 10 minute cycle ride from work I needed a solution to storing my bike inside. As the flat is rented, installing something into the wall wasn’t really an option. I also needed something that would assist in holding the bike up whilst I lock the door and then carry out down the stairs.Solution:Having looked at several different options and measuring my bike to make sure it would fit I ordered this, it took a little longer to come then standard prime items but it was worth the wait.Installation:Having flipped my bike upside down it was an extremely simple installation that took no more than 2 minutes to complete.Using the stand:When using the stand it is easy to unfold and fold using one foot and makes for a stable base to have the bike kept in the hallway inside my flat.Build quality:Top notch metal construction that feels like it is built to last. Have been using it for the past month without any issues. Will update the review if I experience any issues in the future.Summary:A great priced solution for storing a bike inside or out, or just a quick way to get your bike to stand up when out and about.

Bought this for my wife’s Victoria Pendleton bike as this with the only one that seem to fit style wise with my wives bike. I found it very easy to install, sturdy and well designed.They only things I fell it is lacking is some form of protection where the clamp attaches to the frame, to prevent damage. Also a choice of colours would be nice 😁

I bought it to replace regular stand that had broken. I mounted it on my Trek bike with 622mm wheels (700C).Installation: simply unscrew your old stand and fit it a new one in the same place. In case you have no stand and no stand fitting plate there is provided metal plate that goes over the fork so the stand can be secured. As my bike had a bike fitting I didn't need to use it.Usage: The stand folds in a way that both legs fold on the same side so there is no danger that the stand will catch the chain. When opened the bike stands securely straight. In order to open the stand you have to slightly lift the bike so the legs can fully unfold.While on stand balance of my bike is shifted forward which means that the rear wheel is slightly above ground. It is a great feature when you need to do any maintenance to your chain or rear wheel. I found it useful when I needed to put some grease on my chain. I simply turned the pedals backward and applied the oil on the chain. The good think comparing to regular stands is that the pedals are not catching the stand while turning so you can continusly turn them backwards.As the rear wheel is in the air you can also turn the pedals forward while having the bike on the stand. That can be handy when you want to adjust the gears or check the breaks.I cycle a lot and one of the most annoying things while cycling is when you need to fix the puncture while on the road. In normal circumstances you have to put your bike on the side or turn it upside down which is not the nicest thing when the road is dirty with mud and rain. With this stand you can put your bike on it and take the wheel off. the bike will stay on the stand and the front wheel. I didn't check that but as the balance of my bike while on stand is shifted only slightly to front I suspect that when the front wheel is taken off the balance will shift to the rear so it should be possible to fix the puncture in the front wheel as well (I checked that putting a weight of my U-Lock on the carrier was enough to shift the balance to the back wheel).Overall I am very happy with the stand and recommend it.

Muy bueno, lo instalé en mi bici 29” y quedó perfecto, es de buena calidad y me resultó ideal como stand tal y como lo esperaba. A pesar de que mi bici es de montaña al momento de saltar, los pies no ceden al impacto, cosa que es ideal para downhill

Indispensabile sulla bici pieghevole! La chiusura con entrambe le "gambe" da un solo lato è eccezionalmente comoda; utilizzino anche con la bici già piegata per tenerla in piedi in modo stabile. Robusto ed efficace, con ingombro, nelle fasi di apertura e chiusura, limitato. Spettacolare! Straconsigliato!

J’aimais bien l'idée d'une béquille centrale dont les bras se replient au repos....mais ayant lu que l'article ne convenait pas à un vélo électrique (pourquoi diable ???), j'avais hésité, avant de franchir le pas.Et j'ai bien fait ! L'article est superbe, lourd, avec un belle visserie, installé en 6 minutes chrono.Le VAE est vertical et bien stable sur sa béquille. De nombreux trous de réglage de la hauteur des deux pieds permettent d'ajuster en fonction de la dimension des roues.Cerise sur le gâteau, la couleur noire va super bien avec celle de mon vélo.Je recommande vivement.

Lo bueno: es doble y le da más estabilidad a la bici, se puede regular la altura, al plegarse se quedan juntas al lado izquierdo así que son compatibles con bicis con cambio ya que no chocan con la cadena. Es facil de montar. Es barata teniendo en cuenta su calidadLo mejor: que funciona de maravilla, los materiales son de gran calidadLo menos bueno: no es ligera, pero para una bici urbana no hay problema con el peso que tiene la pata.La recomiendo totalmente, sobre todo para las bicis que tienen cambio.

Even though the description advised the kickstand is not suitable for ebike, it has worked brilliantly on my 25kg bike. Very easy to install and adjust. It’s also worked brilliantly folding to one side.
