Fast, Easy Setup and Excellent Whole-Home Wi-Fi Coverage
The Amazon eero 7 dual-band mesh Wi-Fi 7 router has been an excellent upgrade for my home network. Setup was quick and simple through the eero app, and I had everything running in just a few minutes. The instructions were clear, and the app made the whole process stress-free. Performance has been outstanding. Speeds are fast and consistent throughout the house, with strong coverage reaching areas where my old router struggled. Streaming, gaming, video calls, and connecting multiple smart devices all run smoothly without buffering or dropouts. I also appreciate the sleek, compact design that blends in nicely instead of looking bulky or outdated. The added benefit of Wi-Fi 7 support makes it feel future-ready for newer devices and faster internet plans. Overall, this is a reliable, easy-to-use router that delivers strong coverage and excellent performance. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a modern mesh Wi-Fi upgrade.

Reliable Wi-Fi & Saves Monthly Rental Fees
Instead of paying $10 monthly rental fees plus extra charges for extenders from my internet provider, I bought this Eero system and saved money. Setup was simple, coverage is excellent, and the connection has been extremely reliable. Small, clean-looking, and works perfectly throughout the house. Highly recommended!

As simple as it gets and does produce, easily!
Lived up to it's claims! Had it setup and running in minutes, literally. Small enough that it doesn't look out of place and is nicely designed aesthetically. Didn't have worry about controls as it has none lol, the software and a little AI help is all I needed. Very reliable as within a week we had a power fluctuation in my area and since it was on APC backup kept running long enough for whatever was going on at the electric provider to get worked out and stayed running the entire time. Super easy to use and the app works like a charm! Connectivity was simple, easy and straightforward too. You won't need a Masters degree to get this up and running. While it does callback home more than anything else on my network that was easily remedied also ;). You don't get full Wifi 6 features or speed but for the money it absolutely exceeded my expectations across the board and it show in my network speed too. My only caveat is I can see that it's phoning home for and receiving. I have to trust AWS for that I suppose but that's my only critique of it. Otherwise a truly impressive and FAST router!

Great little router
Used Eero 6 pro a few years ago. After a move I switched to an Asus router. Well moved again and decided to go back to Eero with the Eero 7. Very happy with it. Quick and easy setup. Almost too easy. And coverage for our 1300 sq ft home is great and that's with one unit centrally located in a smart cabinet. With echo devices now able to extend wifi coverage I only needed one eero unit with solid wifi throughout the house and front and rear yards. Couldn't be happier.

Great product, but needs a big improvement
I am satisfied with my purchase and feel I should be very happy with it overall. Everything works properly and performs well—the connectivity is excellent, and it’s easy to set up and program through the app. However, like with any electrical equipment, poor design can lead to issues over time. The main problem is that the unit is not well ventilated. It overheats easily if the room is not well ventilated or if it’s placed on a surface without enough clearance for airflow. To solve this, I had to order silicone bumpers to raise the unit and improve air circulation. I believe the design could be improved by adding better ventilation or even a built-in cooling fan to help prevent overheating. And leads to interruption on my internet services

Fast, easy, a bit pricey, and worth it
ISP router choked under the weight of our family's devices. Eero handles them in stride. Easy set up. Three pack blanketed my multilevel home in coverage, and connection speeds are great. Gaming, streaming, and work meetings--sometimes all at once. Was pricey, but no regrets.

Not Seamless if you have Legacy Devices
3 month update: After many weeks, the Cree bulbs connected, on their own, and work as expected through Alexa. The cameras are all connected but disconnect often. Signal strength is very strong at all camera locations. My failing Echo devices have stable connections now. The remaining persistent new problem is with my new Amazon smart plugs. They show as connected, but Alexa commands fail more than 50% of the time. Repeat the command enough and they work. Aug 2025: Eero 7 router connected seamlessly to my ISP and most devices, using the same SSID and password as my previous setup. However, connecting my numerous 2.4 GHz-only devices was challenging. Disabling the 5 GHz channel on the Eero allowed several devices to connect, but about 15 legacy devices remained problematic. Nest and Wyze wired cameras: These required reconfigurations to recognize the new network, which resolved their connection issues. However, the Wyze cameras, which I upgraded to the Eero for due to slow performance from weak signal (per Wyze's claim), showed no signal improvement. 1st-generation Amazon Echo: It connects initially but disconnects after a day or so. Smart plugs: Several older smart plugs failed to connect despite hard resets. Replacing them with new Amazon Basics plugs resolved the issue, as these connected perfectly. Cree Outdoor Smart LED bulbs: All connected immediately and appeared in the Cree app, functioning as expected. However, within a day, about half showed as offline in the Eero app. Despite this, they remained fully functional in the Cree app and responded to commands. Since the Cree app is linked to Alexa, the bulbs listed as offline in the Eero app also appeared unresponsive in Alexa. Overall, upgrading from an older router to the Eero required significant effort and expense, but the improvements in performance are negligible. Everything works, but nothing seems to work better.
