International Caravan Furniture Piece Swivel Rocker with Twill Cushion, Black

I bought this as a gift, and it was well received. The recipient said that it was comfortable, and pretty. She put it together quickly, but said that assembly was a bit difficult. She also said that having small hands was a plus in getting it put together, andthat the bamboo legs were protected very well with plastic sleeves. She found no problems with any bad parts or lack of supplies to assemble it. She is using a Blazing Needles sage colored twill cushion it it, and likes the color. It was ordered separately from the chair. We ordered the grape color with this one, and she said that it was a brighter shade than what she had anticipated, but that the sage was her favorite color of the two. Knowing her, I would assume that she was looking for more of a lavender, as that is her favorite color. Stores123 seems to be a good company to buy from. I had already texted them about my concerns of being able to return or replace bad items, and they were very helpful, polite and willing to quickly resolve any type of problem that may have arisen. We didn't have any problems, though, as you can read above. We will definitely buy from Stores123 again.

The product reached intact, no damage and true to the picture (I bought Lime green).Assembly is TOUGH. Instructions provided are sparse. I follwed some youtube vid, listed out in another review, to first understand how to put together. The swivel also was not working so I used heavy lubricants (that I use for my treadmill) before starting the assembly. I made sure I got the swivel going (It is still not smootj but does the job).The chair is not comfortable for sitting on a long time - due to the curved back. Also it is not as deep as it looks , so you are effectively sitting upright and not laid back like you would in a lazy boy.Overall I liked the chair and it meets my needs.

I love this chair! Its right up there w/ the hammock I have on my front porch it is so comfortable. The only negative comment I have to make is in regard to 'installation': attaching the base to the upper piece can be a pain but it is doable. [Many thanks to Samantha for her very helpful review! And, BTW, you DO want to install the high-side in the front. ;) ]I also bought the ottoman (sold separately) - they make a nice set and look great on my 3-season porch.

Comfortable but cheap quality broke many places less than year.

This chair is super comfortable. I wanted a chair that both rocked and swiveled side to side. I will be using it for reading and as a nursery chair. We plan to get another if this one lasts.Assembly as a number of reviewers noted is a pain. It is four nuts and bolts, but it is a puzzle to figure out how to attach the base to the bottom of the seat when you have to attach one at a time, but then spin the chair to get access to the next bolt hole. The best solution I came up with is to prop the chair on my knee and get the holes lined up so you know you're putting the first bolt in right. Then I didn't even bother with the socket wrench until the end if you can fit your hand through the access hole to hold the bolt while you screw the nut on from the seat base bottom-up side. I then had to fit my hand between the base and the bottom of the seat to spin the base to move the next bolt opening to the access hole. Not ideal, but not impossible.Note: The base can only go on one of two ways (it is rectangular not square). However, the base is higher on one side than the other. I have the high side in the front. I THINK this is correct, otherwise I would imagine that the chair would be tilted too far forward, but I wish the instructions had noted which was the front and which was the back of the base.Further note: At first I thought mine came without the spinning plate but it is attached to the base. It just needs a good shove to spin at first.Four stars because I think they could save a lot of grief by changing up assembly or not providing misleading instructions that tell you to use a socket wrench at a point when it's pretty much impossible to use it, or not telling you what is the front/back of the base.

I tried to cancel this order, thinking it wasn’t going to work for me , and now I’m glad I got the chair. Dayum, this thing is so comfortable! It’s bamboo, made in Indonesia and they’ve been making this chair for eons; the design is tried and true. It takes up much less space than I anticipated, yet it is very roomy. It swivels and rocks. It’s amazing. I’m getting another one! I’m not super fond of the dark walnut stain, but I am pretty handy with a paint brush or can of spray paint, so I will probably paint it a different color at some future date.

The listing advertises that this chair rocks. It does not rock. However, the chair is comfortable & swivels. It is an attractive chair. I had to contact customer service & was expecting to have to elevate my concern to Amazon, but “Dean” & International Caravan immediately responded to my email. He was courteous & presented solutions. I would buy from this seller again.

Arrived well packaged!! The item was very protected and had no scratches or songs at all! However, the chair it’s self is very uncomfortable and it hardly rocks, It looks great! But if you want something comfy I wouldn’t recommend it!!
