I am so happy I finally found this Wonderboom model. I had a great Bose 360 portable speaker that was ruined from being left outside too long. That model is no longer in production - and it took me over a month to find a speaker comparable to what I had. I ordered and returned 4 portable speakers before landing on the Megaboom 4 - - and after an hour of testing a wide range of songs I couldn't be happier. What makes this speaker so great is the quality and variety of its sound. It sounds great on its own, but the app has an EQ slider with several presents and a custom setting to find the right levels to your taste. (EX - I found the preset for close quarters to work best for jamming to songs in my kitchen.) It's a bit larger (and heavier) than I was expecting, but still fairly easy to throw into your luggage. And very much worth every penny when you compare against smaller and cheaper 360 speakers that are under £100. The ones I tried all had terrible, unbalanced sound in comparison. So in my opinion the Megaboom 4 is worth every penny!

Best speaker ever. 360 surround. Seen this on holiday came home and purchased 3 one on each floor so I can party up all round music,great sound Bluetooth and rechargeable. Amazing.

The app is good and the sound quality is ok. I say ok as the base can be a little reverby at times. Lovely design and nice big volume buttons

If your budget is less than £200, get this. Packs a punch way above it's price, you won't be disappointed. Easy to set up, with a customisable equaliser.

Sadly very disappointed with this product. For the price it has very poor sound quality, especially the bass at louder volumes, which distorts anything with low frequencies. It is only really loud enough at full volume at which point the battery only lasts a couple of hours.

I already own a UE Wonderboom 3 for travel and a UE Megaboom 3 for home use (on the patio, at the beach, at the cottage, etc.). I recently purchased the UE Megaboom 4 to expand my music coverage across the entire patio area using the Party Up feature, and Party Up works great! As you can see from the pictures, the external differences between the 3 and 4 are minor. The buttons on the 4 are white, making them stand out better. Otherwise, the physical dimensions are the same. Other differences include charging: The 3 supports wireless charging and has a Micro USB port, while the 4 does not support wireless charging but features a USB-C port. The 4 came with a charging cable, but no charger. Both speakers are waterproof, so you can even take them swimming if needed. In terms of sound, the 3 and 4 are very similar. The biggest difference is in the bass. The bass is deeper and more powerful on the 4. To my ears, the sound is also more balanced and softer overall. Is that enough of a reason to upgrade from the 3 to the 4? That's up to each individual to decide. The only downside I can think of is the high price.

Superstereo en bass

Uno speaker che ha un costo elevato, vero, ma con delle funzioni introvabili altrove. Tutti coloro che si aspettano un timbro sonoro tipico JBL, non sono nel posto giusto. Il sound è molto equilibrato, bassi non eccessivamente avvolgenti, medi ben presenti, alti non fastidiosi. La configurazione flat dell'equalizzazione non rende giustizia, dovete un pò smanettarci. Ma oltre al sound ben fatto a 360 gradi, vogliamo parlare della funzione che lo rende il migliore?? L'accensione e spegnimento da remoto, una comodità assurda, che per uno speaker BT è il massimo. Un plauso a UE anche per la qualità costruttiva eccezionale, Ho un Megaboom 1 ancora funzionante dopo 9 anni. La compatibilità è eccezionale, tutte le generazioni di boom megaboom everboom hyper ecc ecc.. sono collegabili tra loro. Addirittura uso in stereo la megaboom 4 e la 1 tranquillamente. Jbl dovrebbe prendere esempio e non cambiare tecnologia di accoppiamento a ogni generazione (Provengo da una flip 6). Speaker assolutamente promosso. Sconsigliato a chi vuole bassi tamarri o alti così acuti da farti sibilare le orecchie.

Très bonne enceinte. Son excellent et bonne puissance pour sa taille, de bonnes basses profondes.
