Coffee fight
This saga started because the Keurig died. Lasted about 7 years. Not horrible for a coffee maker and I feel I got my moneys worth out of it. Me and the Kid ate coffee lovers. I like hot and black, he likes cold brews and playing with flavors and blends. Do the wife splurged and got us a dual brew Keurig. Great concept and purchased with confidence because we had brand dedication and history or whatever. 24 ounces to back flush between every hot brew to cold brew switch? That’s double my travel mug morning brew! No wonder the reservoir was huge! But the final straw was after the fourth time the machine leaked all over the counters and the kitchen, me and the 45 day old $200 coffee maker had a wall to wall conversation. Needless to say the kid was upset we no longer had a coffee maker and the week it took for the Ninja to arrive has been eagerly anticipated.This one is more expensive, has a smaller water tank, and although it brews over ice, it does not have the chiller tank. So the Kid isn’t thrilled with my selection. He’ll come around. This one brews a full pot of coffee or a k-cup. Everything swaps out easy. Everything is easy to clean. Has a built in frother thing! It’s easy enough for me to figure out without reading the instructions. It doesn’t leak. And it makes a fabulous cup of coffee. Super happy with this and tank you Nina for making products that work!
