Make sure you have a coffee grinder because the beans come intact, but it's worth the work to grind them. Really gives the coffee its freshness.

It was more expensive than some other brands and wasn't quite as tasty or flavor-forward. A little disappointed.

I love coffee and I love s'mores, so I thought I would give this a try! I have a burr grinder and I have to admit that I used the incorrect setting when grinding my beans! Set for drip but was making cold brew, which should have had a coarser grind. I used the usual amount of beans to grind. The second oops that I made was letting it steep for 1 1/2 days instead of 24 hours. With all that being said, my coffee (finished off with a sweetner and 1% milk) was delicious! While I wouldn't say it tasted like s'mores this time around, it still had a nice taste. No bitterness, even after brewing longer than I should have. A nice clear color as I poured it. It wasn't dark dark but that means it required less milk when it was made. It made for a nice smooth cup of coffee, no bitterness detected. The aroma was mild when I opened the bag. I liked the zip opening although I wish it was at the top of the bag. It made it a bit trickier to pour into my bean measuring cup. That's not a deal breaker for me though. The beans were not overly oily and the coffee tasted fresh. Being organic, I would imagine there would be a difference in the oiliness of the beans compared to non-organic and how each is roasted. I only gave 4 stars because I can't really taste a s'mores in this. However, it is a delicious cup of coffee and I'll be enjoying more!

Good value and tastes good

The product itself is not to my liking. The flavor seems chocolatey and toasty for sure, but in an unnatural way. Though it says it's low acid, the sensation seems very acidic. I might be used to my lavaza creama, but this is the opposite extreme. I wouldn't mind other than it says low acid. doesn't taste that way. I would not order again.

I want to be completely transparent with this review: I have not brewed this S'mores flavor yet. I have several coffees from this brand, and I am working my way through them one bag at a time. I will update this review once I actually open and brew this one. That being said, I am comfortable giving it five stars for my initial impression based on the aroma, presentation, bean quality I can observe, and especially my previous experience with this brand. The smell is fantastic. Even before brewing it, the S'mores aroma comes through nicely and has that sweet dessert coffee character I was hoping for. The advertised flavor profile is built around toasted marshmallow, milk chocolate, and graham cracker notes, which sounds exactly like what I want from something labeled S'mores. Presentation is also excellent. The branding and bag design look premium, and this is a full 16 ounce bag of whole bean coffee. I also appreciate that it is marketed as organic, Fair Trade certified, 100% Arabica, single origin, and naturally flavored. More importantly, I already have quite a bit of experience with other flavors from this same coffee brand. Some have definitely become favorites of mine, so the company has already established a good reputation with me for producing quality flavored whole bean coffee. That history is a major part of why I am comfortable with the initial five star rating. This whole bean S’mores infused flavored coffee is a fun change to a coffee routine. I like my coffee black or with a splash of cream. I don’t like artificial additives. I thought I would try Coffea’s take on a happy memory from my youth. The roast is medium, which is my preference. It is caffeinated. The beans are 100% Dominican Arabica single origin and low acid. The beans are USDA certified organic and Fair Trade certified. They are infused with marshmallow, graham cracker and chocolate natural flavors. When you open the package the smell of chocolate escapes. It is a very pleasant and mild scent. The bag is specially designed to keep the beans fresh for up to a year. The coffee has a smooth and moderately sweet taste. I believe a lot of thought and care was used in creating these uniquely flavored beans and the price reflects this. Good coffee costs more.

Well, this started off with the greatest expectations. Literally I could smell the beautiful aroma through the bag. However it quickly went downhill. As my girlfriend opened the bag by pulling the tab, it damaged the Ziploc type seal and the bag was no longer able to seal in to freshness. We immediately noticed that the beans were not as glossy as normal beans. This despite the fact that it's a medium roast just like what we normally get. This also is an arabica coffee, which is what we normally use. The coffee was very bitter, not really any s'mores taste but it did have a great smell. Overall, it was a thumbs down. For us, not only would we not find value for the price, but we would not purchase again.
