Yes. After connecting the adapter to the original USB port, it can upgrade the original CarbitLink / EasyConnection system to wireless Apple CarPlay or wireless Android Auto. No screen replacement is required.

Not worth the price and too buggy

Not worth it, the first few times it connects fine but it is too buggy. Voice assistant doesn't work, everytime it tries to connect to same device tries to create a new android auto connection so In order to reconnect I have to wipe out data on my phone and the device again. Not worth it paying almost 100$ for this... Each time I try to connect my android phone it keeps showing for some reason a Huawei hi car connection mode. I tried contacting the seller via email and they are not responsive. Bad customer service.

NCP0039 HansPilot CarKit

This adapter does not work with the Dongfeng VIGO model car. Amazon refused to accept the adapter back as 30 days had elapsed since I purchased it (I could not test the adapter as the shipment/delivery of my car was delayed due to the Iran war). I wrote to HansPilot (Allan), explained the situation and though it took a week, they refunded the amount. Excellent customer care - 10/10.
