Did it’s job but watch closely
I didn’t know what to expect and hadn’t done much research. Our daughter dyed her deep brown hair blue at a sleepover and, of course, immediately hated it. We bought this knowing we’d need to remove the blue before using a brown to return to her original color. It lifted the blue and significantly lightened her hair very quickly. In under ten minutes. Follow the directions carefully and keep a close eye on the hair, as this is a powerful lightener. She has curly, untreated hair, and thankfully it still felt healthy afterward. We’re very happy this was available when we needed it—and hopefully we’ll never need it again! One tip, do the strand test! And set the stop watch

Took out most of the hideous color my 11-year-old put in her hair
My 11-year-old and her friends decided to dye their hair when they were over at a friend’s house. They chose bright pink. 😬 This is not the healthiest stuff for your hair, but it works. It took out almost all of the pink, and then we were able to put a nice neutral color over it for school. She learned her lesson early not to mess around with her hair too much.

Actually works!!
i’ve heard mixed reviews about color oops so i had low expectations for the product (was still willing to try tho)!! i used the first application on my hair which was (at the time) dyed with schwarzkopf’s charcoal fuchsia, and the second application was used when my hair was colored with adore’s clover. the first application got rid of all of the color except for a few strands, but i didn’t mind because i was going to dye my whole head again anywhoo. the second time, however, was completely patchy and left green on large sections of my hair :( i’m assuming this means that this color remover works best on warmer colors rather than cooler ones, so that’s something to keep in mind! other than that, i don’t have any other complaints ^.^ worked rlly well!!

works great!
the photos are my hair before, during, and after the application. honestly, it works so much better than i thought. i only left it on about 20 minutes because it lightened pretty fast and i could see a plateau in what was happening. i didn't end up doing a second round, which probably would've gotten the rest of the colour out, but i was pretty happy. since i was just dying my hair a different shade of pink i decided what was left wouldn't matter. however you can see the red and blue raccoon stripes from a look i did about a month ago. still amazing. it is just repackaged bleach, but bleach does the best at taking out colour. just remember to do it in a ventilated room. the smell wasn't too bad after either, since the dye i use smells great. absolutely no problems.

Does not work
I have been using color depositing purple shampoo and conditioner and I wanted at change so I looked on Amazon and found this product. It says it works in one take for purple hair, but I am now an orange mess. Don’t trust this product

Bleached my hair and dried it out, also brought out the red instead.
I used this to get the dark red out of my hair, and it only made it brighter, and also bleached(ish?) some of my roots in places. It does say not to get it on the roots, and I tried really hard, so maybe that was the problem. Also, the second round that came with it did NOTHING. It was pink in places (from a magenta red dye) and red and blonde in others. Overall, it did lift, but the 2nd round only hurt my hair more. I probably should’ve just bought 2 boxes and used one box for one round and the second for the other, because I do have thick hair, and probably didn’t coat enough, and that could’ve been the problem, but yeah. If you have thick hair, I would rec 2 boxes of this stuff. It DID make my hair feel extremely dead/dry and I had to use a hair mask on it and deep condition the crap out of it, so keep that it mind.

Best hair color remover
I’ve been dying my hair for years and Iv never had something work so well. My roots were dark brown and my hair was bright green. I left it in for about 50 mins and everything came out

Works!
The box says 2 applications. My hair isn't real long, just passed my shoulders, and I used them both. If you have very thick long hair you might want 2 boxes. Excellent product! Color Oops removed the deep purple color from my dark blonde hair beautifully. It's very close to bleaching the hair.
