Opened box, snapped in G7, and was good to go back to the shop and work with all my tools without having to leave G7 on a shelf. The shell offers little screen protection as that is not the primary design. Have dropped several times from about three feet to hard surface, and no damage so far. Wanted to update that fact for any with concerns. Mainly this keeps the receiver visible and securely fastened on a belt, a pocket, or in my case a wrist band. It does the job quite well, and can easily be rotated to orient the screen as you like. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as a great value for diabetics.

It's pretty great as a belt clip, being used for diabetic supplies while on road trips and functions

I really like this clip/case for my Dexcom 7! I wish it came in fun colors and designs as it is quite basic but it is so much better than having it dangling on a lanyard as it can stay out of the way when cooking, etc. Strong clip- like a pager/phone clip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting a protective screen cover ( the sticker type) to avoid any screen scratches etc.. Highly recommend.. Sturdy, strong, tight clip.. I can wear on my pants, leggings, on the side ( pointing in or out) with sweaters or dresses) Great

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is a hard plastic casing with protectice corners. It can slip easily into a pocket and the clip is very strong when clipped to clothing.
