I thought I had found an excellent mothers day gift with the bonsai tree. Indeed, she was thrilled. However, I have come to learn that the promised fertilizer wasn't in the box that arrived at my mother's. Therefore it seems as though this important exclusion will be the reason for the stunted growth, and poor longevity, sadly cancelling out the excitement, and joy that I had been expecting

this was my first venture into the bonsai world. i saw a similar tree at a family member's house. i wasn't so sure about ordering on line, but it turned out to be a great surprise. the tree was beautiful ( a bit smaller that i imagined, but that is fine). it has been thriving on my window sill for almost 2 months. the instructions in the package were easy to follow. (i also did a bit of research on the type of tree i ordered-- the brush cherry). my only suggestions is that it should have been sent with a humidity tray. (or that option to buy one at the time of purchase should have been offered.) when i realized i really needed one and called for the company, they were very friendly, but did not have a tray that would fit the pot they sent the tree in. i rummaged around my house and found something that works, but would much rather have had a matching tray. if you order a tree (which as i said is beautiful and came wonderfully packaged and in great shape) i would make sure you state you want a matching tray.

The tree looks nothing like the photo on your website.The vase is not the vase in the photo, it doesn’t have the holes in the bottom for water drainage,like all other bonsai pots.Not as advertised.

I was worried about this Bonsai considering that we were having the coldest temperatures of the winter. The box came and my Bonsai was extremely well packed. For the first week or so, my Bonsai dropped some leaves but, since then, it has begun to thrive. Therefore, time is needed for a final verdict but so far, so good.

I would recommend this little item for anyone wanting to start a bonsai culture and collection. My sister always has to see hoe"Little Cherry" is before she inquires to my health. LOL

Sent this as a gift to a friend whose father had passed. It was a great masculine gift and the family really appreciated the enduring nature of the plant vs. flowers.
