Terry Naturally BioActive Magnesium - Mood & Heart Health - 120 Count

Very important in my life. This is an excellent Magnesium, B6 & Zinc Capsule. I doubled my dose but without this, my B/P would be over the roof. It has been great to bring down my Blood Pressure down. Also relaxes me & helps me to heal from my injuries.

I tell everyone about this supplement because it gives you the deepest sleep ever. I love it and buy it repeatedly.

After suspecting my daughter to have severe ADHD, I went down the medical study rabbit hole trying to see if any supplements could help her. At the time, she was 5 and doctors were very hesitant to diagnose or recommend medication (her age in addition to the fact that she is female I'm sure didn't help). On one hand I understand the conservatism, but on the other we were drowning as a family with her meltdowns and outbursts over things that I noticed other girls her age were handling normally (she has additional issues such as lack of focus, difficulty falling asleep, hyperactivity, and binge-addiction type behavior that this supplement doesn't address as strongly). At the time she was not swallowing pills so I cobbled together my own regime of chewable pills in the ratios outlined in an NIH paper (for anyone curious you can google "Magnesium, hyperactivity and autism in children" by Marianne Mousain-Bosc, Christian Siatka, and Jean-Pierre Bali). Once she learned how to swallow pills, I looked around for a combo so she didn't have to take as many as once, and this formula is the only one I found in approximate ratios to what we had been using, in addition to having the right kind of magnesium and B6 (she has not responded as well to other kinds of magnesium). In short, this combo works miracles by alleviating maybe 40% of her concerning behavior. Enough to give us some breathing room, but she still showed problems in other areas. It bought us a year of time through the pandemic until we could get her to be seen by a doctor who would take our concerns seriously. It helps alleviate a lot of her frustration and anxiety and severely curbs emotional outbursts/spiraling. She is currently on Focalin which has completely changed our lives (as I believe her binge-raids are connected to a dopamine reuptake malfunction), but we continue to use this as one of the main tools in her stability toolkit (she takes a number of other supplements as well). It's particularly helpful as her medication wears off, and also had the unexpected benefit of eliminating her night terrors she used to get. Occasionally we have issues with non-compliance, and when she goes a few days without taking it the mood issues and night terrors return. Presently at age 7/45 lbs she takes 2 a day. I believe that her continued usage of this product has prevented us from adding additional prescription medication to her routine.

Great magnesium supplement for bloating.

I did some extensive research on the different types of magnesium and bounced around from a couple different products before settling on this one. For the quality and the price you can’t go wrong. Definitely feel an overall difference since taking this. I run 3 miles 4/5 times a week and this has totally helped with muscle recovery.
