EF ECOFLOW 800W Alternator Charger, 3-in-1 Fast DC-DC Charger

Decided to buy this EcoFlow 800W alternator changer, since my AC outlet in the truck bed does not provide a pure sine wave required to charge my EcoFlow batteries while traveling. It was not too difficult to install once I decided on best location. The only issue was once I turned the unit on, the power light turned from green to red, meaning there was an issue. Crap, did I mess up the wiring or something? No, just a simple firmware update was needed, which I already had the Ecoflow app from my other devices, added this alternator charger to the app, updated the firmware, and ready to charge. It started charging to 500W right away, and after a few minutes got to charging at 800W. So works very well and as intended. UPDATED - EcoFlow did finally come through providing the cable puller I was missing, so changed the review to 5 stars. It took a while, but they did get it done. Utilized while off grid this past week, and very efficient charging while traveling, very happy with this upgrade!

Had to return and list money in that transaction, not a simple return. I couldn’t use the plug with my Delta Pro 3 we have had a while. Am very satisfied with the 500W version. That plug is compatible.

I purchased this to charge my EcoFlow Delta 3 and EcoFlow Glacier fridge in the cargo area of my Land Cruiser. The charging speed while driving has been phenomenal—within 45 minutes to an hour, both devices are usually sitting at 99%. I had a pro shop do a custom install to wire it in seamlessly, so it looks super clean and works like a charm. See my photos of the setup and build. Before this, I was using the Land Cruiser’s factory 240W outlet, which worked but took several hours to top everything off. Stepping up to 800W DC-DC charging is a night-and-day difference and completely worth the money. The only caveat to be aware of: despite the heavy-duty shielding on the wiring, the unit emits enough RF noise/frequency interference to occasionally trick my Land Cruiser into thinking the key fob isn't inside the vehicle. It might be partly due to Toyota's internal antenna placement, but it's definitely something to keep in mind if you drive a newer SUV. Still, I'm extremely happy with the performance

It works well. Using only a 12 volt or 24 volt lifepo4 battery. Getting 500 watts with the “prime days deal included” CT60i cord. Issue: I have the Delta Max Plus, and the included xt 150 cord does not work for me at all. Because the adapter (smart generator adapter) cannot be found. It is apparently vaporware on the EcoFlow site. As is the custom cable for the Alternator charger. As I have the DM3plus, I am small potatoes I know, but to not stock this when it is needdd for connection with the Delta Pro 3 and the Smart generator is astonishing and highly dissapointing. So my rating is for function. The Alternator works great. BTW, the XT60i cord charges my River Pro 2 and River 3 plus at 220 watts. So thank god I hit the deal for the alternator charger with the XT 60i included, or it would be collecting dust.

Received everything in the box I needed to hook up. Followed instructions, with wifi, used the app to connect my delta 2 max and software update before hooking anything up. Made sure the power supply was on first. Then hooked up the charger. Began working right away. I then did the software update to the charger. I also plugged in the ac charger to the cigarette lighter when running the vehicle for another 100 watts charging capacity. It automatically detects charge going to the battery (when the vehicle turns on), then starts charging. As for my 2024 delta 2 max it's compatible. I have an upgraded alternator in storage. So I can actually use the full capacity of charge.

I have no problems with the products. I have recently purchased several products during prime days but unfortunately, I had a conversation with echo flow services and very disappointing not to mention no response to my last inquiry, therefore donate expect customer service to be much of a help

This is a game changer for my delta 2. I also use a 250 watt solar panel when my rig is not running. My fridge freezer runs 24/7. Great for overlanding.

This product does not work with the Ecoflow Delta Pro as advertised. When I tried to connect them, I discovered there is no port on the Delta Pro. You actually need a separate $70 adapter — something never mentioned until after purchase. I attempted to buy the adapter directly from Ecoflow, but my orders kept getting mysteriously canceled. Customer support offered no real help beyond “try a different credit card.” Even when my wife tried ordering with a different account, the order was canceled again. I had my wife order the adapter on a different device and credit card and the same thing. Now I just I received an automated emails saying the “trouble report” was closed. The result: I’m stuck with a Delta Pro I cannot charge and an expensive alternator charger that’s useless. Between misleading advertising and the worst customer support I’ve ever experienced, I strongly recommend choosing a different manufacturer if you value transparency and meaningful support.
