The water purifier has worked well and is effective because of the following reasons - 1) Its a good purifier, specially for a family of 3 or 4 people. The refill qty for the water at the back runs thru the day and is not a hassle 2) It is an easy press of a button water availability and refills the clean water jug in about 1.5 mins. 3) Quality of water is good - no odor (we had a big issue of the same in our area). Bottomline - it quenches the thirst with the right taste of water 4) Extremely easy to install - its more or less plug and play 5) I see availability of spare parts on amazon to-date. Hence filters can be ordered easily. 6) No noise issues. Motor runs reasonably well and is a non-issue. 7) This is based on a 2 month usage review. To be updated for a long term based feedback.

I'm not sure I could have purchased a better countertop water purifier. Looks great. Compact enough to slide under my typical 18" below wall cabinet space. Living on an OLD drilled well water system in the country, with adjacent active farming fields, we are subject to every fertilizer / herbicide / pesticide application. My throat finally this year started telling me things were not good, as we've loved the taste of our water for decades :-). No sulphur taste ever. We fill our fridge with pint mason jars of purified water now :-) Instantly the throat irritation vanished. The water literally lost all of it's "well water" taste, and became just crystal pure without the "smooth" consistency of a water softener (salt) system. I've recently changed the two filters at 6 months as flow slowed to a tickle. The inner plastic valves, though may have been the problem with hard water deposits closing them down, as the new filters did not immediately increase the flow. I ran a full dispenser of citric acid through the entire system, let it set for an hour or so. Rinsed thoroughly with another full dispenser and it's like new again ! :-) VERY pleased as it probably works overtime compared to other households :-) A LOTTA pints of cold water DAILY along with MUCH coffee. A PLUS is that the Keurig machine never needs cleaned/flushed now.

The unit is beautiful — it has a clean design and a very nice interface. We were excited to have our first water filtration system that not only functioned well but also looked great. After following the flushing instructions, I tested the water using my TDS meter. I compared three samples: tap water, bottled water (Kirkland, from Costco), and SimPure filtered water. The initial readings were: Tap Water: 325 TDS Bottled Water: 20 TDS SimPure Filtered Water: 34 TDS I was pleased with the 34 TDS reading from SimPure, even though it was slightly higher than the bottled water. I repeated the test a few more times and consistently got results between 33–37 TDS for SimPure, which seemed acceptable. However, after a couple more sessions — emptying the tank and refilling — the TDS reading for SimPure began to rise. On the third tank refill, I rechecked all three sources to ensure my meter was still accurate: Tap Water: 326 TDS Bottled Water: 21 TDS SimPure Filtered Water: 42 TDS By the fourth refill, SimPure was reading 51 TDS and continued to increase with further use. My TDS meter, which initially showed a green light for SimPure water, no longer did. In contrast, the bottled water consistently measured 20–21 TDS across multiple bottles. I’m not advocating the use of bottled water — on the contrary, I wanted this system to work so badly that I doubted my TDS meter. To be sure, I bought a second meter, and both devices returned similar results, within ±1 TDS. Honestly, I would've been very happy if the machine kept the TDS below 40, but perhaps I had high expectations. Sadly disappointed, I am back on the market looking for another system. Unfortunately, based on this experience, it seems the filters degrade quickly and don’t last long enough to justify the cost compared to bottled water. I was genuinely looking forward to reducing plastic waste by switching to filtered water, but this machine just isn’t going to make that possible.

This makes my water taste excellent! It's 4 to 1 (which means the waste is only 1/4 of filled tank) much better then the 2 to 1 of others. Large tank and less trips for refills. Tank in back does not make for easy use under cabinet on counter and why I removed a star.

I never write reviews, but I felt like this product needed one. Before this system, my well water tasted so bad. The TDS were around 400 and we bought bottled water because I couldn’t stand the taste. Before purchasing a $2000 system, I opted to try this countertop system. It was so easy to set up and I think I’ve died and gone to heaven with the taste of the water that comes out of it! It’s amazing!! This is worth the money! Be sure to measure for where you want to put it as it takes space to open up the water refill part- we need to pull ours out from under the cabinet each time we refill it which is a pain. I might move it to a better (more open) location.
