Best Headset for this pricerange
You cant go wrong with this headset I have been using it for around 6-8 months now and I have to say I am still not disappointed, the build quality is amazing the sound and mic sound clear, I have had headsets from most major companies, and this is the best I have ever owned, that is comparing it to headsets from Razer, steel series and Logitech. they are a little on the heavy side but really comfortable. PROS: Amazing Build Quality. Clear sound quality Mic is the best I have had on a headset so far. Good range of sounds. Is even better with a good dedicated sound card. Comfortable to wear Cons: Mic is addicting to chew on, but hey isn't it like that with every headset? xD a tiny bit heavy but that is expected with how well these are built so its not really a con, and they do not seem to slip or fall off your head either or feel like they will. All round an amazing headset for the price, I would have no problem recommending these to people and I am sure whoever bought these would be more than satisfied They even come with a little bag to carry around in a pretty nice box that you can reuse to keep them safe in, an extension cable that will allow for reaching down under the back of a desk no matter where the computer is and a cable that turns the two mic and headphone jacks into a single jack for things like smartphones and ultra books that have that single mic and headphone combo port. I hope my review helps, please ask any questions if you need to know something more. EDIT [17/11/2013] So after almost a year of use, getting bashed around, tangled in things and very very heavy usage, they broke but not because of a failure on their part or a fault but because I got them tangled in the chair and the cable broke, not a bad headset to last way longer than any other headset has ever lasted me and the only reason they broke was my own error, I am going to buy another set because of how happy I am with my experience with these, which stayed comfortable and working great through what I could only describe as, extreme usage, being thrown around, traveled with in suitcases and thrown into bags, the cables tangled and pulled and the headphones themselves used non-stop 9 hours+ a day, every day. Would definitely hands down recommend them, I swear by this headset.

Good, but not great
I don't usually buy big/bulky headsets like this one, but after seeing the review for this headset in PC gamer I thought I'd give it a go. Pros: - Good build quality (doesn't seem fragile at all, like some headsets I've had before) - Comfortable - Good sound/mic quality Con: - Bass quality is low, even taking into account that this headset is open cup. Summary, great for the price you pay, but if you can afford it there are better headsets out there.

Sound quality seems great to me
Had mine a year. Sound quality seems great to me.(though I'm no expert in this area, I would need to do a side by side comparison with a top end headset to be of more use that way) Very comfortable for extended gaming sessions or listening to music. Bad side seems to be build quality, mine have developed a fault in the splitter / volume box which is midway along the cable. Sound seems to turn off either to one ear cup or the other and I have to mess around unplugging from the volume box to get everything going again. Next set of headphones will be purchased soon so I will review those as well / compare to this set.

Good attention to detail, extra features not listed in description.
The open cup design allows you to hear your surroundings clearly, it is one of the few headsets which are actually advertised as open cup. The sound quality is good on both the cups and the microphone. The ear pads are large and soft, which is excellent for extended use, the headband is also nice and soft. The construction of the headband is durable. The weight of the headset is a good middle ground. It comes fitted with a short 1m cable which is ideal for laptop use. However there and three additional cable extensions: A plain 2m extension cable. A 1m extension which has an inline "control box", giving analogue volume control, a microphone mute switch, and a button which can pause/play/answer-calls on mobile phones. A 0.1m standard 4-conducter 3.5mm jack (TRRS) mobile phone adapter. The microphone is detachable and there is a little rubber plug to keep the socket clean when the microphone is not in use. This is one of those little attention to detail points which is really nice. Overall: An excellent buy, I certainly got more than I was expecting with this product. :D
