i first bought one of these in 2018 and at the time, it came with enough beads (pearls) to hold brushes upright. i bought two more this year (2023) because it was one of the only brush holders i liked that also came with the beads, and i am extremely particular about things. imagine my surprise when i poured the beads into the brush holder and none of my brushes would stand up - it has significantly less beads than it did in 2018, so be forewarned you may need to order extra beads for these. now i need to look at that too, which is frustrating because i bought these so i could be done with this task.

It's attractive and seems to be well made. It would be perfect except it is not tall enough for the standard 8-inch brush. I asked this question on Amazon before I ordered, but I got no answers, so I decided to take a chance and order it anyway. Wrong decision. When closed, the lid presses on the hairs of my brushes, smashing them. This is obviously not good for the brush. Why would they not make it a half inch taller to fit an 8-inch brush since they are so common? I came up with a less-than-ideal solution. I angle the brushes into the beads so they don't stick up quite as high. The problem with that is the brush then takes up more room in the container, and it's already pretty crowded in there. I still have the packaging and am trying to decide whether to return. Bottom line, I just can't recommend it for 8-inch brushes.UPDATE: I am changing my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. I want to be fair to this product, and after a few days of learning to tilt my brushes at the right angle in the box, the fact that the 8-inch brushes can't stand straight up isn't that big of a deal. Still not a 5-star for that very reason, but it's worth 4 stars.

I Love the concept and this is what I really wanted for my brushes. I may order another one. HOWEVER, big disappointment with the hinges. One of mine is a little crooked and made of cheap material. I don’t think the hinges would hold up I’d say; The container was dropped or a child got a hold of it.

This is great and exactly what I needed. I don't regret my purchase. A full set of toothbrush makeup brushes fits in this. I also have the big huge brush and there's lots of space left over. It looks nice, very organized, and great on the vanity. It doesn't take up a lot of space like the big apothecary jars, which is what I had before. I like the clear look, though, and I really wanted one with a cover so no dust, random sink bugs, or poop specks could get on my brushes. This is it! Also, the "pearls" are a nice touch and a bit if elegance to the whole ensemble.

I do like my brush holder but I wish that it was a little more sturdy and better quality. It’s pretty thin and the lid is a little flimsy, I also wish it came with more beads, but overall it does it’s job!

The seller described this as “5mm thick acrylic”. It’s not. It’s plastic, not even durable plastic. It feels like if you drop it, even on carpet, it will break or be seriously damaged.I kept it because it was exactly what I was looking for. A small brush holder to hold all my eye brushes. If you get this for face brushes you may only fit 5-8 depending on the size of your face brushes.I included pictures for reference. My face brushes are by Luxie and I have a mixture of eye brushes from different brands but most are by Luxie and I was able to get over 30 small brushes in there with a little room for a couple more.I would definitely purchase from this seller again. I gave 3 stars due to product description

Perfect just what I needed.. my only problem is I wish the lid was a little more sturdy. If you are not careful you could break the lid right off... but overall its great for my brushes. Will purchase another one soon.

They are beautiful, not only are they wonderful to keep dust out, they are aesthetically pleasing. Putting your makeup brushes in jars can look cute but it never did make sense because they will pick up dirt and dust and it just doesn’t seem sterile. Previously I opted to putting them in small drawers but I noticed some where getting bent. When I saw these it just make sense! But in person they are just beautiful! I will need more!
