Boy parents must have
Must have if you have boys!! My 3 year old loves his crash pad. We use it everyday. My son gets a ton of energy out jumping from the couch to the crash pad or jumping directly into the crash pad. The crash pad also doubles as a comfy place where we watch movies. We pile on the pillows and blankets, then snuggle up and watch a fun show. It's kind of pricey but worth it, especially if you wait for a sale.

Great purchase
We bought this 5 years ago as the crash pad for our kid’s rock wall. I just realized I’ve never left a review. It’s held up amazingly. Our kids can be at the top of the rock wall (normal ceiling height, maybe 8 feet? And fall backward to fall on the mat on their backs and are supported. It is large and bulky and doesn’t store so if you buy it make sure you have space for it but it does a great job at what it’s supposed to do. Both covers zip off, our basement got water once and we were able to unzip the whole thing and let it dry out. We’ve washed the outer several times as well, getting it back on is quite easy.

Safe!
Use it as a safety precaution for our indoor jungle gym, and the kids love it. They can fall from any height and be safe.

Worth
We have a 4 year old with ASD that has proprioception sensory seeking needs and an insane (joking kind of) 2 year old. Both LOVE jumping off theirs beds onto this. Definitely worth.

Perfect
It’s bigger than I expected but it works great. And also a great spot to curl up and read or nap.

Perfect
It is large so make sure you have room for it. Very sturdy. Easy to clean. Serves as its purpose. My child loves it.

LIFESAVER for our 8 y/o boy with ASD and ADHD!!
The media could not be loaded. Our son was diagnosed with ASD and ADHD at 18 months and has had more energy and desire to jump off of everything since he was old enough to walk. It has been our quest ever since to provide him with sufficient SAFE outlets for him to meet his sensory seeking needs and use up that energy in positive ways. We've always had a trampoline as well as memberships and season passes to local pools, theme parks and trampoline warehouses, but even with all of that, we found that he was still jumping off of things at home and needing this kind of stimulation early in the morning before school, in the evening before bath and when the weather or life circumstances don't enable him to be outdoors. First we invested in a high quality rebounder trampoline, then a plyobox that he could jump off of onto the trampoline, but then he started trying to pile pillows and blankets to land in and it just wasn't safe on our hardwood and porcelain tile floors, so I was delighted to find this crash pad. It is EXACTLY what we have been needing! As you can see from the pictures and video, he is doing front flips onto it from the kitchen counter top and his landing is perfectly cushioned every time! The exterior cover is soft, so it's fun to lay in when he's winding down and it's easy to zip off and throw in the wash. Our dog thinks it's his new bed too, when it's not being jumped on! The foam is thick and well/evenly distributed. It's large enough for him to land on fully, but light weight enough for us to stand up against a wall or move to a storage room if we need it out of the way. I love that the sides had vents that enable the air to escape with every crash. Our son literally does this for hours a day and it has made an enormous difference in his happiness and behavior both at home and at school, as he's finally able to fully meet his sensory and physical needs! The only thing you should be aware of that could make it better:It comes with a tiny little strip of what is basically rug pad that is supposed to help keep it from sliding when landed on. It's a total joke. In fact we tried using a full size rug pad under it and that didn't work either. It slides every time he lands on it. He doesn't seem bothered by it and is good about scooting it back into position before his next jump, but be aware that if you plan to put it on a smooth surface, it WILL slide unless you come up with a solution. I've ordered a large yoga mat to put under it that will hopefully help, but it would've been nice if it came with silicone dots or something integrated into the bottom side of the cover to keep it from sliding. Of course, then it wouldn't be reversible as it is now, but some sort of sliding solution would be great. Shouldn't have too much sliding if used on carpet.Other than that I really have nothing bad to say and want to shout from the rooftops to all the other autism parents I know about this crash pad! It has been an absolute godsend for us. WORTH EVERY PENNY! It comes packaged amazingly well (vacuum packed and rolled up) and only took a few hours to be puffed up enough to jump on. If you have a child with ADHD or ASD or both like we do, or even just really active, rambunctious kids, you will thank yourself for investing in this crash pad. But only if you have the space in your house for it as it's not small haha!I sincerely hope this review has been helpful! I paid full price for this and just wanted to spread the good word. Feel free to ask me any questions!

Great even under heavy usage
I can't believe this is not currently available, it's awesome!! We bought a house with a climbing wall in the garage and a lot of young kids and this crash pad has been great! Our kids can hang from the roof jugs at a height of about 10' and then drop down onto this pad and as long as they're do it carefully and don't bang their teeth into their knees, everything if fine.Other reviews bring up questions of durability, but we've been heavily using this for about 6 months and it still looks brand new. We even have a climbing rope right next to (heavy braided type) and the kids swing from the rope and it rubs along the pad cover over and over again and it still looks great. The dimensions are a bit confusing though. When it's fluffed up it's about 3' tall and takes up 4' x 4' on the ground. So, after being jumped on over and over again, it's about 1' tall and takes up 5' x 5'. I was worried that it might be 'too' thick, but the ~1' thick is about right.
