I do not believe it will at UV lamps use a different current then HPS or other lamp types.

It is a fluorescent ballast. What are you trying to light? Type/bulb amount/voltage? T8 bulbs what wattage ?

Does this ballast work with the philips 327817 35-watt t15 sox35 low pressure sodium hid light bulb?

This ballast is only compatible with fluorescent light bulbs. I would suggest to look for something closer to an Advance 71A0490-001D.
