You can’t go wrong with Domino dark brown sugar. My mother and my grandmother used it when baking. Excellent childhood memories!

Normal brown sugar, but was one solid block when I opened the package
This is normal brown sugar; but it was one very hard, solid block inside the package. I know that happens, but not usually as soon as you open it. I am going to guess it has been on the shelf a long time because most people want light brown sugar. You just need to put a piece of bread in the package or get one of those brown sugar bears. I would buy it again as I prefer dark brown to light brown sugar.
