MUST HAVE!
I needed a good boost and after buying 3 others that didn't give me what I was after. They either color your sound, are to muddy or to thin sounding. I read some reviews and bought it. First, this isn't just a boost, although it is a GREAT one! The op-amp chip is just flat out Awesome. Kinda reminds me of the LM803 chip in the ProCo Ratt from 1985. Not as 80's sounding through a clean amp but you can get there. With my Peavey classic 50w 4/10 I can get the Dumble sound almost spot on. That gr8 punch and bite that made the Dumble so wonderful. With my EVH I use it only for the boost during solo's and it really puts me on top of the mix. I just bought the Supro 1698t Black Magik which is only 25w so the boost is very much needed. Talk about the Jimmy Page sound, this brings every note front and center. The drive works very nice with this amp also, not over the top, depending which one of the five levels you have it set at but again even maxed its still clear. Thats one of the things I love so much, it never gets muddy. It stays clear and punchy, never over the top with to much drive either. I've used it with many different amps and it really works gr8 no matter the drive being maxed or not. It's nothing short of genus... A Crystal clear boost that will set your solos on top of the mix and even gr8 sounding drive if you need or want it. I've played guitar for 40+ years. I toured, I've played 100k person crowds and for 20+ years I earned a gr8 living playing. I still play 4 to 6 nights a month, I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about lol. If you need a clean boost, this is it! Plus you get a sweet drive to boot. Pair this with a good set of hot tubes and enjoy what you hear! Again, If you need a boost, look no farther, buy this! You'll be getting two pedals in one! A Boost and a drive. The sounds are so gr8 you will be smiling every time you use it for quite awhile! WELL WORTH IT! 30 years from now I see this being sought after like the 80's tube screamers are now... As guitar players were living in a wonderful time for pedals. There are so many being built the choices are fantastic, and like this, some are really good. Its sad that we cant buy them all, we have to pick and choose, but let me say this, this is the best pedal purchase I've made since the early 80's. One you will never get rid of...

Get some punch!
It's got punch. I go from wah to tuner, tuner to PUNCH, punch to compressor and it rocks! Solid $100 pedal. Worth the squeeze.

Fists of fury!
I really bought this because of the 'fists of fury'... but it's a cool little pedal. I won't attempt to expand on the great videos you can find out there... [...] - a pretty accurate depiction of how it performs. One thing that I was a bit disappointed in is that it's pretty 'hot' when plugged through the effects loop on my amp (Vox VT100)... likely an issue with the amp more than the pedal, but once I wired it up directly (guitar -> fx board -> amp guitar in) it worked like a charm.

SCARY!!!!!
I tried this first with my Dr.Z Mini Z 5watt amp, it was very good. I was really impressed with the dynamic sound, I would have given it a 9 out of 10. Then I used it with my 1982 Carvin X100B combo and it was F@#*KIN' SCARY good. Buy one today, buy one tomorrow, but buy one!!!!!!

Awesome booster
Awesome booster that ill give you a very dark vintage preamp sound very reminiscent of Chicago blues. Not really suited for metal. NOT a clear preamp. very colored sound, very dark.

Way Huge never dissapoints! The better the amp, the better this pedal is
Man, I've never used a Way Huge pedal I didn't like... I originally bought this pedal used at GC for 40 bucks, seemed like an awesome deal for a way huge pedal, and I hust love them, so I got it... Even though I knew it wasn't a clean boost and it wasn't really a distortion? Or it was kind of a distortion... But pushing your own amp... When I originally bought it I had very cheap tubes on my amp, and I returned it even though it was super cheap, just because I really didn't felt the need for it... But then I changed tubes and I tried it again and it was a completaly different story... Smooth creamy saturation... In angry fist increaments ... I noticed how much I liked it after trying the Butler Tube Driver , although different monsters, they are similar as they use your own power tubes for the saturated distortion.... And of course in a live situation if you want to go from mild to loud and heavy! This is for you!!! It's dark and it's heavy!!! No clean boost here. But every way huge oedal so far for me has been a 5 star pedal.
