I have so many devices in the back of my TV, I'm running out of outlets and have to run some things down to the lower, exposed outlet for the TV. When I added the Google TV Streamer, my wife saw the plug in the lower outlet and said, "That isn't staying there, is it?"! I had already ordered this nifty mount for the streamer and was just waiting for it to come in. Took all of three seconds to mount it in place along the top edge of the TV. All you see is the thin edge of the mount over the top, not a big deal. I like that the mount keeps it out a little from the warmer back of the TV in order to keep the streamer a little cooler.

I've been struggling to figure out where to put my google TV streamer. My TV is on a motorized mount that I change positions depending on where I am in the room. This makes most stationary positions not that great as you have to give enough slack in the cable to move the TV around, but also tidy it up enough that the cables aren't flopping around everywhere. I've considered lots of different options, including just consolidating everything onto a HDMI switch which I may do at some point, or just adhering it with some mounting tape to the back of my TV. But this mount works great. I like this for a lot of reasons. The primary one is that the cord never really moves when I move the TV around as the mount is attached to the TV. This mount holds it securely and hides well behind the TV. It has a little lockable tab to keep it in place. For power, I just hooked it up to my USB port on the back of my TV. My TV pushes out enough power that it handles the streamer fine. There may be more elegant solutions but for the cost and utility, this works great for me.

I had my Google TV streamer duct-taped to the back of my TV (which kept popping off), so you can imagine how happy I was to find this product that neatly mounts it to the top of the TV frame. It is, in my opinion, a little overpriced for a plastic bracket but it does the job.
