I have this light on a 40g Marineland breeder tank that has a 36”x18” footprint. This pic was taken with the light set at 10% brightness on full spectrum. Without a doubt, if you want to grow plants this is an absolute powerhouse. My Cichlid breeder tank has fake plants in it as the cichlids will eat live plants and in a 40g they serve to break up sight lines and reduce aggression. This tank was set up 2 weeks ago and is cycling with 1 fish in there. Programming takes some time but once you figure it out the light is awesome on its 24/7 setting that starts with a yellow sunrise migrating to full day sunshine to a yellow sunset to blue moonlight to off. All fully programmable for color, time and brightness. Well worth the extra $. If you want to grow live plants I can’t even imagine how well they would do under a light that can deliver so much power if you turn it up. I have to keep it lower with fake plants to avoid an algae bloom. With a tank packed full of live plants you’ll grow a jungle in no time.

Great light spectrum. It has a lot of features and color options I still need to figure out but but just off the brightness and clarity it beats anything at the box pet stores.

Remote is not the easiest to understand but good/ bright light.

Once you know how to set these up they're great. Not too complicated, easy to use and set brightness along with time. Used other ones in the past that were difficult to set up and couldn't adjust the brightness. They hit the nail on the head!

Very easy to set up and program. My aquatic turtle is very happy.

So far this light works as expected, and is being used to change the light mode throughout the day per my programming via the wired remote. It is much brighter than my prior LED light that died unexpectedly, and has more functionality.

Ich benötigte eine neue Aquariumbeleuchtung und zwar auf dem schnellen Weg. Zugleich erschienen mir aber die Preise im Fachhandel echt abgehoben. Diese Lampe wurde schnell und gut verpackt geliefert. Sie ist für meine Bedürfnisse stabil genug konstruiert und hat technisch durchaus etwas zu bieten. Mal abgesehen davon dass ich mich bei diesen übersetzten Bedienungsanleitungen immer etwas schwer tue, macht die Leuchte genau das was sie soll. Ganz prima finde ich den vorprogrammierten (aber modifizierbare) 24/7 Modus der die verschiedenen Lichtverhältnisse von Sonnenaufgang bis Mondlicht bzw Aus automatisch simuliert. Klasse! Das Tageslicht bringt zunächst eine gute Beleuchtung ins Becken. Die Intensitäten können auch noch manuell angepasst werden. Was das ganze in Bezug auf Algenwachstum macht und wie es um die allgemeine Robustheit und Lebensdauer steht kann ich natürlich noch nicht beurteilen. Ich überarbeite meine Rezensionen regelmäßig und werde gegebenenfalls objektiv nachjustieren. Aber, jetzt im Moment: Ein kostengünstiges Top Produkt und somit zunächst gerne 5 Sterne!
