I am someone who is really sensitive to sounds, the way things sound, like I hate listening to something from my iPhone or laptop speaker and stuff like that. I tried so many different sound machines and nothing compares to this one because it has a depth to the sound, doesn't sound high pitch or static. i'm not sure how to describe it but it's not annoying like other white noise machines I had. it sort of has like a bass and depth to the sound that I really appreciate. tons of different options white noise, music, nature, volume, nightlight, usb plug. its perfect. bought in 2019 and its 2023 now and i'm still using the same one with my daughter. If it broke I would need to buy it again. we bring it when we go travelling too. helps us both sleep better. if anyone asks me about helping the baby sleep or a good noise machine I show them this product lol

THE D1 - From all the choices of songs and white noise, to the slight and natural increase and decrease of the volume, this was a fantastic upgrade from what we had. The night light options are just a great added bonus. My daughter just loves it, Mamma approved! THE D8 - Bought this recently as its cheaper and wanted to save a little money. Bought it with the intent on using it for my newborn baby. Tested it once it arrived and the quality is definitely less than what the D1 is, it also cuts in and out or volume goes high for a second than back down. It is limited in noise options compared to the D1. Overall, spend the extra $$ and get the D1 over the D8.

Compact with many choices for blocking out unwanted noise

I really enjoy noise machines for background noise to sleep. I bought this one based on reviews for the machine and the company, and I was really pleased. It has a lot of different sounds to play (nature, 'white noise', as well as fan noises), based on 30, 60 or 90 minute timers, or a continuous playing option. There's so many different options to play; I personally like water sounds as they're pretty peaceful. This would also probably be good for a baby as there are a couple lullabies and even a heartbeat sound. There's a 'nightlight' capability with the one I got (the black machine); I don't really use it or like it but I think it'd be good for those looking for that option and you can easily turn it on or off. My only thing, though it could just be me, is the sound quality itself in that I find the sound rather than the volume is slightly 'heavy', if that makes any sense, so I just turn the volume down a little more. My boyfriend isn't picky and doesn't hear any issues though so he doesn't mind if I use the machine to sleep and I think he enjoys it (he likes the fireplace sound). I do use it every night before going to bed for 30 minutes, during naps, and I'll put it on if ever I wake up in the middle of the night to help sleep. It's very easy to use and the machine itself seems very sturdy/durable. It has a great smaller size so it seems ideal for travel. I would recommend to anyone looking for a noise machine for background sound.

Fils autiste qui a peur des bruits. Il focus sur tout son environnement et détecte le moindre bruit bizarre = nuits atroces, journées difficiles à l’école. Ça fait maintenant 2 nuits que nous l’utilisons et comme par magie, il réussit à s’endormir paisiblement. Avec le bruit du ruisseau et un bel exercice de visualisation, ses craintes ont diminuées de 75%. Il s’endorme à des heures raisonnables et ses journées sont meilleures. Le seul hic à ce produit, la qualité du son serait à être améliorée parce que c’est un excellent produit. Le son est quand même pas si mal. Le reste, je n’ai rien à dire. Cette boîte de son a changé ma vie.
