Fits perfectly as a replacement for my 2016 BMW X1. The removal and installation process took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. The filters are good and matching with original design. The BMW filter housing location is the most complicated and unfriendly for replacing cabin filters.

Engine air filter fit my 2019 mini F55 perfectly. The previous filter was stamped bmw, and appears to be identical to this one. The only difference was this filter came with an extra, thin, white pad on the underside. Because my previous filter I was replacing didn’t have the thin white part, I chose to remove it. It was glued with 3 small strips and easily removed. I trimmed excess with scissors just to nested it up. Another review stated that their replaced filter had the extra white pad, so go figure, opposite of what I found. Anyway, I want proper air flow, will keep this in future consideration and plan to replace engine filter at least once a yr, since it’s a breeze. The air cabin filters in a mini Cooper, not so much fun! Especially for elders.

This was a perfect replacement for my 2017 BMW X1. Removal and installation took less than 10 minutes, from start to finish. Being able to do this myself saved me the time and cost of having it done at the dealer. The filter is well made and actually seems to be of comparable, if not better, quality of the OEM filter that I removed. I would recommend this filter to anyone who would ask me.
