I have been around around a long time. I am a big fan of classic rock. I like Nickelback. They have a Collective Soul kind of sound but they are heavier. The vocals have rasp to them by the singer but the music is good. Sort of what I would expect from a 21st century rock band . As for the cracked cases , you can get replacement cases from Amazon at a good price . I own a lot of CD’s I have collected over the years and none cracked buying blank replacements from Amazon. I am a big fan of AMAZON. I would not have the collection I am proud of if not for AMAZON. TJP

This is a must have album. It has all the great hits like "if today was your last day " and others

I always liked a few key Nickelback songs such as the classic "Rock Star" and "How you remind me" so I got this as a taster and found there were more songs that sounded familiar to me than I was expecting. I had obviously heard them on the radio occasionally without realising they were from them. I have to say this is a great album, there is not a bad song on there, musically it is good with a mixture or pacier rockers and more softer numbers, all of which have great lyrics that clearly tell a story. Some prudish people my be offended at the subject and lyrics of "Animals" and "Something in your mouth" by they are written and performed with a sense of tongue in cheek fun rather than a deliberate intension to be offensive. I find the rocking "Never again" provokes an emotional response, as lyrically it powerfully conveys the difficult subject of domestic violence, in this instance seemingly from a childs point of view which may be what makes it so powerful. Cons: None - if your looking for an introduction to Nickelbacks musical output this is a great place to start.

Say what you want about Nickleback, but I find it hard to hate on them! This greatest hits album just hits different and makes you remember how many great songs they’ve actually had. So glad I added this album to my record collection.
