Since 1 month, This SSD is good and reliable

I was bit reluctant to buy this SSD because there was not much reviews about this product. I was using about 1 month, and till now I find this product is working well. No much heat is generated and the Mac book performance is also good. I will post another review after 3 months, 6 months and 1 year to ensure the durability. As of now I love this product.

Products may be good if you get lucky. Communication is terrible!!

I bought two of these SSDs. Both times I had a problem with them. The first time, I bought a 2TB one and it was overheating and boot camp didn’t work like they said it would, so when I tried to restore the drive, it completely wiped it and made it disappear, so there was no way for me to install the OS again. Second time, I got a drive that was completely wiped and no pentalope screwdrivers. I emailed them twice, and tried calling like 5 times on separate days, but no reply to the email or to the phone calls. It may be that I got unlucky twice, but when you spend $800 and $430 on a drive, you would want to have good communication. Went ahead and bought an apple OEM used ssd from eBay and it works like a charm

Did not last 6 months, Seller replaced with new one

Total crash in less than 6 months. Took it to Apple store and they could not recover any information from the disk. I have been using Mac's since 1989 and know them fairly well. This product was a disappointment. Seller promised new one and said product has 5 year warranty which would be exception for something computer related. 6/8/19 Seller sent replacement formatted with operating system. I have installed it and it seems to be functioning find. Seller stood behind the product.

All in all great product

Installed the product without any issues 6-5 stars. Fits perfectly. The only challenge I had was in the change over to new hdd, might be due to lack of knowledge. As we speak everything runs smooth after day 5.

Good.

Performance is good. Both read/write speed reach more than 2GB/s. I would recommend this for other 2015 mid owners.But USPS delivery was really pain in ma ass. I would pay extra charge if I can choose FedEx or DHL.
