Finally added photos from when it arrived. ****************************************************************** I was apprehensive due to cost and the negative reviews, especially about the durability. However, this is a purchase that has made me very happy *I love the cushion factor (compared to a regular yoga mat) *My hands and feet don't slide at all on this mat (as I did on my regular yoga mat) *So far I have not had any issues with durability, but I use it solely for exercise/yoga and I do keep out on the floor most of the time, but I don't casually walk on it *My only wish is that I would have bought blue instead of black, and maybe a larger size (XL?) although this one (Large) is plenty large for my 5'4" frame. This isn't a size you would probably take to an exercise class or studio, but for home it is awesome! *I have experienced NO off gassing chemical smell with this product as I was worried about based on someone's review (I believe this product is made of all natural material based on what read on the company website, can't recall for certain). *The mat came well packaged, but not in a box... a large yoga bag with the labels on that bag. I was in new/unused condition as it came from Gorilla Mats, not some 3rd party seller (well...I guess amazon fits 3rd party seller..so maybe I mean 4th party seller?) *This product makes me very happy and it is nice to say I have had no regrets about the product or the cost. It has exceeded my expectations so far.

This mat is amazing!!! I'm never going back to a regular sized yoga mat. So my shopping mission began when I wanted to get something for myself and my 9 month old baby to play on. Something that could be multipurpose for yoga, gym exercises and also playing, learning to crawl, walking and toddling on. I originally was going to purchase those foam tiles that click together but I really wanted something that could be quickly/easily stowed as I live in a 1BR apartment. First I noticed the price. The regular sized mats from Lululemon a popular yoga brand are $60. So I was comfortable spending an extra $40 to get an even bigger sized mat that was thicker. I think it is a slightly premium price for a mat, but after using this product I can vouch that it is indeed a premium product and I feel that the value is worth it. Next, space. W O W. I have so much room to move around! I can practice yoga while my baby plays and when she is trying to crawl up my legs while I'm stretching I can just rotate 90 degrees and continue my practice. It is unreal! I have some foam rollers and I can just sprawl on them and roll around all over and not worry about laying on the floor because I'm always cushioned by it's luxurious foam. It is the best! Comfort. I've used a lot of mats and I tend to go for a lighter weight thinner mat, and it's been years since I've used a thicker mat, but I really love it. This mat is thick and luxurious. Almost like memory foam, you kind of sink into it and it feels really good. Sticks to the floor. This mat stays under your feet and isn't moving. It's got a special side that you put down on the floor and its like magic it just stays put. This has been awesome for my baby as she learns to pull up on things and walk, I feel relieved knowing that it's not going anywhere while she puts her weight on it. Super easy to store. Takes seconds to clean and roll up. The towel it comes with is super handy too. I just put it behind my couch when I have company or I need it out of the way. Rolls up very easily and isn't too heavy. Colour. Black is really nice and the gorilla emblem on it is a nice touch. Easy to take pictures on. I haven't tested it outside yet, but look forward to taking it on some adventures!! This mat is easily the best purchase under $100 that I've made in a very long time. Buy it!! I'll add some photos once I get time!

Very pleased with matt. Doesn't slide on my wood flooring and gives great comfort for kneeling and set ups.

Absolutely love this map. Worth every penny. Had it for 2 years now and there's been literally no tears or micro tears whatsoever. Doesn't smell, easy to clean, and its super thick. Couldn't stand the restrictive feeling of the "StAnDarD" narrow yoga mats because it doesn't allow you to flow freely like we're made to since it distracts and confines your movement to one skinny plane whilst this mat lets you move 360 degrees as far as you want so you can really get in a flow state and see real benefits. Def a recommend

I like this mat. The blue is pretty. It's comfortable and stays in place during at-home workouts. It's not really my type of yoga mat, which is fine, because I bought it for workouts not yoga. I wish it was a little thicker but I am able to do exercise moves with my knees on it without pain and that's really all that matters to me. I really like the large size of it compared to standard workout/ yoga mats. If I could afford a bigger/ nicer one, I would, but for the price this is a good mat.

This is by far the best mat I have ever purchased!!! 1st it was packed nicely, even came w a nice gorilla sweat towel as a gift for my purchase (was not expecting that so it was nice). came on time and for the price you cant beat this. size is perfect and this mat is beyond amazing. its durable, stays in place, doesn't fold up or get in your way. has great traction and is soft like but sturdy enough for any workout...I lift weights on it, place heavy weights on it and the indentions of the weight on the mat disappear when you take them off. if your looking for a mat, please purchase this gorilla. I've used a lot of others (usually dont hold up like this one) as I'm a personal Trainer and I train all my clients on this mat and its holds up to its name...I was NOT given anything free for my review this is all true, and in fact I don't leave reviews often at all but this mat makes me so dang happy I had to leave a one, a good one too bc I want others to know this mat is legit. thanks to the seller for selling such an amazing product at an affordable price!!!

Ok, my new mission is to tell the world about this amazing product! I had been eyeing it and thinking that was a lot of money for a mat. But it is so much more than that. The first time I did Pilates I had all my gear spread out, I had room to move, and I was able to engage in my mat workout in ways I never had before, simply because I had space. It’s super thick and I use it on my hard wood floors. I have old tired knees and didn’t need a towel for them. It’s given me my large living room floor as a space where I can comfortably roll like a ball and do all the fun stuff that goes with Pilates. I got the 7x5

This oversized, ultra-cushy Gorilla Mat is my stretch + strength sanctuary—perfect for barefoot Peloton sessions without slipping or sliding. Very durable, obviously ease of use and just all around the best mat. It also came with a wonderfully soft sweat towel and velcro ties to keep everything tidy.

Very nicely packed and came quickly. I have been using it for almost a year now and still loving it. The mat hold firmly to the ground and had no issue while different types of exercises.

I wasn't sure about it only because of the price, but im glad I did. EXTREMELY GOOD quality. Doesn't move on hardwood and he as excellent memory foam. Love it
