I bought this because I have many knives & scissors. I watched the video and it looked easy & efficient. I was able to sharpen everything in minutes. I love the way you dial what kind of knife etc that you have & it adjusts. It is a manual system & I like that. Directions are easy to follow. A safety pair of gloves is included that have reinforced finger tips. I like the quality of this unit. Very happy with the purchase.

This is just what I needed! I had a sharpener but it only worked for a straight edge. This is far superior. I can now sharpen serrated blades and scissors. It’s so simple to use and I would buy this again.

This knife sharpener has been really useful to have in the kitchen. It’s easy to use and does a good job bringing dull knives back to life without much effort. I like that it has multiple sharpening stages and can also be used for scissors, which makes it more versatile than a basic sharpener. The included cut-resistant glove is a nice added safety feature, especially if you’re newer to sharpening knives. It feels lightweight but sturdy enough for regular home use. So far it has worked well on several of my kitchen knives and helped them cut much smoother. Great little tool to keep around.

Only had this a week but I like how it works. The ad doesn't explain it but the picture on the box does. The rotating control actually rotates 5 DIFFERENT sharpening heads. And they are all different!!!!. I haven't tried the scissor sharpener yet. That one is the one that needs care because you mush have the scissors orientated the correct way or you will sharpen the wrong edge. If you look at a scissor's blade you'll understand why. Most knives have a double edge but scissors use two single edges (one on each blade) to actually cut. Not a huge deal but just a little care and practice needed. As for the other sharpener heads, the dial is marked clearly. I'll update my review once I find some old dull scissors to test with... ;-) I like the fact that the base of the sharpener has large rubber grips that sit on the worktop. I only use mine on the edge of the worktop so that the blade leaves the sharpener into open air. Just don't want to scratch or cut up my worktop with an accidental knife cut. I've tried it on folding pocket knives too, works great. I did test it on one of my favorite kitchen knives, it's small and has an extremely close set of serrated teeth. I wasn't sure which setting to use so tried a couple. Worked a charm. Overall, for the mechanics which seem sturdy, the 5 rotary sets of sharpening blades, and the comfortable handle to hold onto it, I think this is a really sweet sharpener for most kitchen blades. And for all that, I think it's a good price too. Definitely recommend it.

Ich bin wirklich sehr positiv überrascht. Ich war bisher nie von solchen Messerschärfern überzeugt. Alle Messerschärfer dieser Art haben in meinem langen Leben bisher nie wirklich gut geschärft. Deswegen habe ich bisher immer ein Schleifeisen / Schleifstab benutzt. Nun habe ich mir auf Grund der guten Bewertungen diesen Messerschärfer bestellt. Und ich war nach dem Durchziehen des ersten Messers total überrascht, wie scharf das Messer war. Der Messerschärfer ist einfach zu bedienen. Eine gut lesbare Gebrauchsanweisung ist dabei. Meist reicht tatsächlich das einmalige Durchziehen des Messers um es wieder scharf zu bekommen. Man zieht es im Grunde zwei mal durch. Das erste Mal ein Grundschliff, dann dreht man den Einstellknopf auf "fein" und zieht das Messer ein zweites mal durch. Und das Messer ist echt super scharf. Eine Schere oder ein Messer mit Wellenschliff habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Aber der Schleifer soll das können. Alle verschiedenen Schleifmöglichkeiten werden an dem Drehknopf eingestellt. Ich kann den Messerschärfer mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

It’s well constructed and smartly designed. I know, I know, it’s just a funnel!! But the little strainer piece pops out and fits well in any of the three funnels. I also like the colour and build. It’s thicker and stronger than others I’ve used and isn’t your usual dollar store quality. It’s pretty easy to clean. Great product. Goes without saying also they all nest snd can store well and the handle has a hook to store easily!
