really happy with this one
I played one round of golf using this rangefinder, so this is a first impression. Easy to set up, easy to use, the flag acquisition works really well and the vibration on lock is solid and works well. I bought this one because I wanted to see how the slope adjustment works. I have a Bushnell w/o slope, its good, but this is good with slope and the price is right! The only issue is the mode button that is goes between meters and yards is right next to the button you use to get the yardage and its really easy to accidentally push it and end up with meters and not yards. I check it in the viewfinder to make sure I'm getting results in yards, other than that this is great, at least my first impression after one round of golf. I think I'll put something over the mode button so I can't accidentally push it in.

Easy to use, accurate, and inexpensive!
I've see golf rangefinders at several times the cost of this unit, but what more could they offer? I found it easy to use out of the box, with a minute or two with the short instructions. It's accurate for objects whose distances I already know. The scope is surprisingly powerful, and it seems to home in on the flag, and not get confused with more distant objects. I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend, and liked it so much I got one for myself! They really do put these on holiday sales, I ended up paying ten dollars more post-holidays.

Good beginner range finder, would recommend
My wife bought it for me for my birthday/anniversary as well as some other golf items. It seems to work great for getting yardage. It’s lightweight, sleek, and easy to use. The only issue I’ve had is I cannot get the pin lock to work. I’ve even tried on a tripod and can’t get it to lock in. Either way, it’s great for a beginner like me.

Great budget range finder
Has slope and gives same readings as my friends Callaway only negotiate would be no magnet on it.

Great low cost golf rangefinder
I ordered this as a deal on Prime Day and received today, so these are initial impressions. I have wanted a rangefinder but could never justify the high cost. With sprinkler head markers and GPS, it is not totally necessary. What is nice with a rangefinder is knowing the distance to or over a hazard. At the low price of this item, I decided to take a chance. I am glad I did. I live on a golf course, so I shot a couple flags and other objects from my yard. I got the yardages quickly and the results were repeatable. That is all I ask. This rangefinder has "flag acquisition" technology and that should not be confused with "pin seeker" technology. This one locks on a flag or any object that you sight and press the acquisition button. It could have been called boulder acquisition technology. Pin seeker requires reflectors on the flagstick to work and all courses do not have them. This rangefinder does not have a scan mode and it only locks on a point. Also not a problem as a point is what I am looking for instead of trying to follow a continually changing display. The slope feature is a nice added feature at this low price. All in all, it is quick and easy to use and all most people will ever need. It does not give you every feature, just the ones you need. I drove around a few holes on the course and the flags I shot corresponded quite well with the distances on the score card. Slope added or subtracted a few yards as it should. I will update if I find any problems with on course use. Update. Three years in and still working perfectly. Had to replace the battery early this year, so 2-3 years battery life.

Product does not work
This product totally failed to perform its basic function. If you are reading this, you know the function is to measure the distance from a golfer to the pin. It is expected that one instrument may vary by a yard or two from another, but measurements with this device were consistently at least fifty yards off. Obviously, the device was non-functional. (Note that I gave honest answers on the stars above. The product seems to be nicely made, and the optics are quite good. The electronics were obviously defective.) But now the real fun started. Following the instruction manual, I emailed the indicated address for return or repair. After two attempts, I got no reply. So I went to the vendor website, emailed the help address there, and again got no reply whatsoever. So, in summary: Product does not work, vendor does not respond. This is by a long measure the worst product I have ever gotten from Amazon, and it was not inexpensive. I suspect that the company makes many functional products, but this one was not, and it is inexcusable that the vendor will not reply to a customer. This vendor either needs to change their policies or be removed from Amazon. This is not what I expect from Amazon. I go out of my way to use Amazon because they are generally so reliable.

Good functionality.
Nice product, works as described. It does not display the angle which someone might want if they want to figure out the math but it is not necessary for the function and playing.

Not premium but good enough for most golfers
Gives you everything you need to know not a premium brand, but tested against another good brand and works relatively well

No stabilizer makes it a bit shaky, but overall great for the price
For the price, I really like this thing. For someone who goes out maybe 4-6 times a year, it just helps give you some reference. It doesn’t lock on to the flag, so you need to point it at the ground to get a reading, but I’m not such a precise golfer that it really matters. I feel like the readings are accurate but it’s just a little tough to lock-on to the exact spot you want. It could benefit from having a kind of stabilizer, but that’s me just being nit-picky. For the price, it’s a great product!
